Facebook questions - showing my age!

Hi all,

Yes, I have been on the internet since it was a baby. I checked my Amazon id and I have been a customer since 1999! So, with my new kindle, I started a hayday only Facebook account. I added people from the sticky thread then things got out of hand FAST! So, can someone explain this?

1. Still can't figure out how to get a clickable link to my profile. Help?
2. As I added people, the flood waters broke! I am getting a hundred plus friend requests A DAY! Why??? People from around the world, speaking languages I don't and who DON'T play hay day. Can someone explain this?
3. How do I figure out, looking at their profile page, if they really play hay day? So I can determine whether to accept them or not...

I would appreciate some help from anyone who can help a 50-something with this.

Let me see if I can help some, trust me I'm not to far behind you in the age category.

1) clickable links from facebook, in the address bar at the top of your home page, right click it should turn blue, then click copy. From there go to where you want it to be posted, right click on the page and click paste.
1a) if you are only using the Silk Browser from the Kindle, put your stylus or finger on the address bar and push until the small bar at the top changes to read "Text Selection" you will see Copy. Touch that. Then navigate to where you are wanting to post your link and hold down the stylus or your fingertip and a small window will say paste. When you see it touch that and it will stick it there.

2)What happens is this: people look at the ones they have befriended and just start clicking send request, they don't care who you are... they don't care that they play Hoobie Joob ( made up ) and not Hay Day. They just click "Add Friend"

3) I'm still trying to figure that one out myself. If you figure it out or if someone knows and doesn't mind sharing their knowledge I would appreciate it.

I look at how many mutual friends we have and who they are to work out whether to accept friend requests. When sending requests I only send to friends of friends where we have a large number of mutual friends that I know play HD at a decent level.

Wish more people would be as selective. I just deleted over 2k of "friends" that supposedly played another game, who over the course of 6 months did nothing but forward everything BUT game related material, never signed into the game, past the initial phase of adding a post to their wall, then to never be seen in the game again.

1. Every time I am in Facebook, there is not a unique address to my page. When I added people from their link, it would pull my profile. Not sure how the others got it. I may need to try it on a laptop.

2&3 I can easily see what games and apps they have on my laptop. If I click on "more", if " games and apps" isn't there, I delete. If hay day is connected, it should be in the list. I figured out on my tablet, I can see what people liked and only 3. If it is not there, I delete the request. I went from 30 to 800 in like 3 days. Got higher levels from the associated ones than the ones from the sticky. Still getting gobs. I am not accepting any more. I thought only the last 100 would be in my friends tab but I have hundreds!!! So different from iOS!
