Five no-name farms in the last dd seling wheat at various prices and corn at 2 coins. SC got to do something, we have enough wheat as it is.
    Farm: Bunny Ranch
    NH: Atlantic to Pacific Co-op

I actually came across a "bot" farm this evening that didn't fit the usual characteristics as I've seen. The tip off for me was the lack of a farm name, although I've still come across "bot" farms with names. This one was selling 10 wheat for 2 coins at rapid regeneration. The throw off for me was that they cleared all of their trees and rocks, which I don't usually see with bot farms. And then their wheat field was all even, not patchwork. All their animals were hungry and strewn across the bank, but they had coins in their truck. That made me look several times, enough that I took several screenshots so I could refer back to it and post if needed.

    Touch maps

There's app user tracking software that lets the appmaker view where, how, and for how long the user touches the screen. The software actually generates "maps" of where the finger or stylus has made contact with the screen.

In general, I loathe all the tracking that's done of us on the interwebs. But I wonder if the ability to see how your user interacts with the screen could be used as part of an arsenal of effective screening tools against bots.

Growing wheat and corn and selling it in your RSS? Well, unless you're using an emulator or automating software, there should be touch impressions all over the screen corresponding to those game actions.

I guess it's feasible that - over time - a bot could mimic these finger impressions. But, even then, there would probably be indicators that those physical impressions were being spoofed and weren't authentic. Like they would too often repeat the same exact pattern or something...

    ======================================

On a different note, back when bots use to congregate in NHs, I'd occasionally see a bot farm that was part of a bot collective, and obviously using automated software, but showed signs it was being played manually too. I think it's probably always been possible for the crop automation to function as only a part of a h*acked game. For some Hay-Day-obsessed players, they probably can't help but go fishing or send out a truck order on their bot feeder farms. So, I don't think seeing farms that show signs of automation but also participate in other farming activities is new.

There are plenty of bots around, some doing bits and pieces, some in hoods. Some selling 10/10 or corn instead of wheat but the field pattern is unmistakable. Maybe it's hard for sc to detect this?

I have reported a few but there are just so many and it's too laborious. If they are serious about eliminating them then they need to put a one-click report button next to the like button
    whatever

Oh wow, i havent notice it before, Just opened the dd and bingo, No name Lvl 45.
Strange crop growing, all standard trees still up. Im in for a report button next to the like button. If a person has x-amount of reports, sc should take a look.

Given the challenges SC had in identifying a person recently, I am really not sure whether there is any point in reporting a bot with no name, or indeed one with a name in non-Latin script. Can Nick confirm that we are not wasting our time reporting these farms??
    whatever

Indeed. Reporting bot farms should be as easy as reporting spam popping up in the forum, IMHO.

Imagine if we must screen shot every piece of spam before forwarding it to the mods instead of clicking the black triangle. I'm sure many players are eager to help Supercell to investigate suspicious activity but it doesn't want to make the process easy.

    Too bad so sad.

Anyone else running into these? I guess you can't report them if they don't have a name?

Sorry if this has already been covered, I went 4 pages in...
I read a whole bunch of message streams and yes...they are. Apparently they have switched tactics a bit and are not as prolific or speedy as they were...but definitely there. Selling wheat at 3 or 5 ...all machines bought for level. No level over 60...no trees or bushes. Machines not running and no stars...also all jammed up together, not enough animals and only chickens fed. Boat may be repaired but only 2 ponds open with NO s♥♥♥♥, no tackle box, no lobster pot..etc.

different than before and maybe played by gold farm rather than computer but still....
