Pre-mature TH9

I'm sure you've seen a ton of these posts, sorry, im really out of options.

I have five builders and love this freaking game, only problem is that i got impatient, so i rushed to TH9 thinking I can utilize more of my elixirs(I raid 40x a day). Also some idiot in my clan say it didnt really matter what levels of TH, neither did any youtube or forum posts i've seen mentioned the HUGE penalty for being a higher level...

I've invested 50+ dollars and I am stuck. Most of the time I lose more than I raid and even when I make money I get them taken away immediately...

seriously i dont want to quite, i am losing interest but i dont want to abandon my investment.
what can i do guys...

AND ALSO, HOW HARD IS IT TO PUT A NOTICE BEFORE TOWNHALL UPGRADE SO HONEST PLAYERS DON'T FALL INTO THIS HIDDEN TRAP?

PS. Most players rushing Townhall are coincidentally the people who spend the most money on this game. super ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed move man.

Read Hannibal's sticky under Tactics about premature TH's. Besides that, I reccomend you find some better clanmates.

Hi thanks for the reply. But ive read the sticky and i've just read a lot of stuff about premature TH9/the game overall. I still can't believe i didn't get the penalty % when i was reading raiding guides.


Trust me man i've looked pretty much everywhere, but its not the freaking same. Before each raid I get about 300k-600k total, now i am getting 150k if i am very lucky(But i spend like 50k searching)


Any other help?

A screenshot of your base and troop lvls would help us show you the right way to recover. It will be hard but it is doable, depending on your current situation. With this info we can suggest a good army layout, good base design, a good trophy range, and also a good path of what to upgrade.

Level up your farming troops (goblins) as fast as possible and while doing that, take a read on my farming guide, link on signature.
Your base isn't that bad and I see lot worse over 2k cups. Prioritize splasher upgrades on defences.

First off your better off than most premature TH9s. Your walls are an acceptable lvl and your mortars look good. Focus on getting higher lvl WTers, that will deter attackers. Also what are your troop lvls?

Also try raising your trophies to 1400-1600 to avoid some of those TH7s. This will let you get more loot per battle.

Thanks for the reply man. Yea I am a pretty damn good player for less than 2 month on the game(got new phone may 20th lol)

Except i made one stupid mistake.. I mean now i can still steal about 100k total resource minus costs. its just extremely discouraging... I'm losing so much interest in the last few days after my upgrade but i dont want to give up...

You think supercell can revert the upgrade? i can pay another 10-20 bucks lol

Troops are level four. I can't even get enough gold for WT upgrades without playing 4 hours straight or something

I think you are in good shape...just need to focus on getting your troops to level 5 and 6. You can, however, avoid your defensive resource losses by re-designing your base. Might I suggest one of the three that are shown in this video:
