War Spectator Request To Avoid Spies (includes images)

I think the most frustrating part of spying is the apathy that everyone has. Sure, simple, just close the clan during war and don't let anyone in. That's great. As long as you only war once per week or so. Otherwise, you're always closed and have no opportunity for growth.

The other part of spying that really annoys me is that every time we've lost to clans that have spied on us, they always make sure to let us know that they would have beat us anyway, or they offer to give us advice on how we can be better... The fact is, the three times we've lost to a known spy clan, we lost by 3 stars or less.

Finding good recruits is hard enough as it is. When you risk them being spies, it's just that much harder. The real solution to this isn't even keeping a recruit from being a spectator, it's simply not letting any spectator see war base traps. That easy. Sometimes new folks like to take in a war to see how the clan attacks and if they are a good fit. I don't want to block them from watching the war. I just don't want them to see where my traps are.

What if all new members to a clan are free to spectate but traps stay hidden just like on the live replays. This way new members can still cheer for their new clan but are not granted the ability to see traps until after the current war

I like this as it would allow you to take in new members during war and not risk them being spies. Once the current war is over, they can become full fledged members.

I really like this idea..

I think the players against it love to spy and have mastered the technique.

I personally don't mind spys, they aren't going to beat us anyway. My clan is war 24/7 and is set to anyone can join at 1200 trophies. So bring it spies!


P.s. whoever said spies weren't intended don't know world history. Has there ever been a war without spies? Anyone know Benedict Arnold?

Yeah but in real war I'm pretty sure they have methods or take extra measure to avoid spies. So this is just extra precaution. This doesn't eliminate spies completely!

Spying is not the way the game is supposed to be played. And this in no way is asking SC to show you how to 3 star a base. Its completely irrelevant.

It's actually authorized by Supercell and it's a strategy tactic. In the CoC FAQ, it was written "it's not very loyal but it's okay".
