Just find a combination of troops you are comfortable with.

All 'farming' compositions are made up of troops you can train quickly to raid multiple times per hour.

    Barbarians
    Archers
    Goblins
    Giants
    Wallbreakers
    Minions

Find a combination of them which you are happy with and stick with it.

Balloons, Wizards, Healers & Dragons are generally not used by farmers as they take longer to train. They are typically better at helping you get your trophies up if you need to.

Assuming you are th7, try 15 giants, 2 healers and the rest whatever.

    Goblins!

If you are indeed considering to do Farming attack, the most basic troop you need is the GOBLIN! Well, of course you still need to the rest of the gang but they are to break the village's defenses in order for your cute goblins do their thing - stealing resources.

You may lose trophies sometimes, but as a farmer you won't mind this much as long as you meet your priority goal - resources!
