Is there a way to do farming by stepping out of the clan wars?

Hi all, I wanted to know if there is a way to step out of fighting with other players in the game and just concentrate on farming so as to improve your own base? I don't like to loose my hard earned trophies while I'm farming.

"Farming" means to attack people.

Waiting for collectors is not doing anything actually.

There's two ways to avoid being attacked:
1. Buy shields.
2. Try to get other players to attack your TH without touching your resources. In my experience, even with a totally undefended th, this works slightly more than half the time. It's about a 2/3 to 1/3 split in trophy hunters who just take out your th and those who will still attack you for your resources.

Another option is to buy gems. With enough gems, you can compress several months of development into a few minutes.

You really should attack people though. Without getting too complicated with the math, it's not difficult to earn as much as all your collectors put together for a week in an hour or two.

I do unserstand you, I had the same mixed feelings before I started dropping all my hard earned trophies. But after a while you get used to it. You see trophies not as a indicator of how good you are but more as "places". If you don't undestand what I mean by that you just can learn it by doing it for yourself.
