how often are your splash towers and point defenses used compared to teslas and air defense? probably a lot more.. I don't see how teslas and air defense are more important than point defense. what farmer in their right mind would prioritize upgrading teslas or air defense and honestly teslas are either used as a last line of defense or as a trap early on in every defense, they're not as important as cannons and archer towers when you're farming. also, air defense is used like very rarely if you are farming or like op (hybrid)

While I agree with many that you are ready for th9, for me being ready is not the reason for upgrading...

Cancelling will cost you what... 2M? How much penalty will you incur if you proceed to th9 and incur more penalty in your raids? From a rough look at your base (I'm too lazy to count) you'll get penalized more than 2M. So I think (you better compute to verify, id use around 20% penalty on all the gold required to max to be safe) it will be cheaper to cancel. So the gist of it is its more expensive and therefore it will take more effort to upgrade your base when you rush. So unless you've got idle builders, don't rush.

What's the hurry? Enjoy th8. It's not a bad place to attack and defend. I really don't see why people want to rush this game. Its so much more enjoyable played leisurely. I am currently a th8 and taking my time. After I maxed my mortars, the only people who were able to get almost all my storages were higher th with max troops with archer queens and spending a lot on spells. I have never had all my storages taken. And it's really fun getting back at them and taking more than they did, and the loot bonus is sweet.

Not true. Ive had my lvl 7 Teslas change the course of a battle. A lvl 7 Tesla will one hit lvl 5 gobs and lvl 6 archers every .6 seconds. Ive watched one Tesla take out over 30+% of someones attacking force. They have the highest DPS for any single target defense, they take up less space, they are hidden, and do double damage to Pekka. Neglecting your Teslas is a terrible mistake.
