You'll do fine at TH9. Just work on those ADs during the TH upgrade. Once you get Xbows, the only attacks you'll regularly face in farming ranges that can do serious damage are mass dragon revenges, so the air defense becomes possibly the most important tower.

Should i cancel my upgrade to th9 or will i be fine? Idk if i can farm 65-80m in 8days for maxed walls.

i'm 3 days from th9, with fewer skull walls than you. but i maxed all my defenses, including teslas, barracks and air defense.

i'd cancel because maxing teslas and air will take a long time -- giving you time to farm (and enjoy) late game th8 (and maxing barracks can be a painful time, too). i appreciate the draw of x-bows and the archer queen, but having surplus elixir all the time is also fun.

in any case, it's a close call. from what i hear, the days of th9 being many times harder than th8 (in terms of farming loot) are long gone. still, it's nice to have th7s to pick on as you wait ~2 weeks for the last tesla upgrade.

Well im am going to max out all th 8 i would cancel if i were you it would help you in the long run.

By the way between your AD, Teslas, and barracks your looking at 72 days of build time. Divided by 5 builders you've still got 14.4 days left to max TH8. Or in other words about 15 days. The question is do you want to do these 15 days at TH9 when you can no longer loot TH7?

no, at farming trophy ranges the splash damage twrs and cannons/arch towers are more important than teslas and air defense (although they are important too) but there is no need to max teslas and air defense before town hall 9 when you got your splash and other main defenses done already.

Teslas are the strongest point defences in the game and should be upgraded before Archer Towers and Cannons. Air Defence is crucial at higher trophy ranges to counter mass-dragon.

don't cancel. it doesn't matter if you can max out your walls in that much time. just do as many as you can. if you cancel it will be a bigger waste of gold than if you cant upgrade your walls in time

How good are you at raiding? Two major changes happen at th9:
1. Th6 is no longer available nor profitable to raid.
2. Th7 is now break even or loss, th8 is minimum to attack to get over 200k. S, that means hunting in the 1500's.

Try raiding some th8s now and see if you can consistently get 1-2 stars, most of the resources, and a consistent 2 mill per hour (will be 1 mill at th9). If so, then go for it.

most important though is troops. The big dividing line between 9 vs lower th is level 5-6 troops.

U will be fine...I was at a slightly more advanced position when i started my th9 about 40-45 days ago. Now I've got two soon to be maxed xbows and a maxed army besides my giants. Drop ur trophies to 1400 but stay with a trophy hunting base and just hemmorage trophies by attacking with a few gobs and u can get over 1 mil per hour. U will be completely fine.
