I'll start off by saying I haven't really liked the last 2 updates and this next one seems like it will be another buggy flop like the last one. Clash is trying to play catchup with the other clash clone games out there that do more for their players. I've played 4 still halfway playing 2 and I like em but these Clash people still got me....I can't quit. I'm a clan leader lvl 9 war clan. Can't leave my boys high and dry. Back to my point... Loot, attacks, losses of loot are basically the same for my mature base, even though I'm a new TH 10 defense wise (9.5 full TH 10 attack force TH 9 defenses) my rushed bases though are basically dead. My first account I gemmed to TH 10 waaaay to fast. Had him nursed up to working TH 9 defenses pre update but post update I have to keep him loot poor or he gets leveled and can't drop trophies to hide these days. Other was a test base 7.5 he gets matched up in war just fine but brutally stomped by TH 8&9. So no more gem buying on them. Let the little one just die and keep the TH 10 for troop donations.
Tips for the people not having problems. None, keep being awesome.
Tips for the people having problems:
-only save one type of loot at a time.
Going for gold use full war troops to keep elixir and DE down.
Elixir use hogs and golems and use gold for walls.
DE use Giants wizzies wall breakers with goblins as filler and use gold for walls
- new TH people there is a place where if you push low enough you get past the trophy droppers and hide but not much raiding down there and need to stay below 800 trophies or you start going up fast.
-don't try and go all the way to the top of the trophy range of you don't have a few different attacks that work. Say low next a lot of bases minimum 10 and try and find one that works. Pre update or post it still takes a lot of "next" to find one I like with the loot I want.
-experiment. I've seen "successful" loot raids with just all goblins. I'd personally throw some wall breakers in to avoid splash damage at walls. But whatever. Think outside the box. Don't be the laymens definition of insanity and keep doing the same things and expect different results.
This nonsense is here to stay and they will continue to make more "improvements" to the game mechanics instead of just adding new content like has worked in the past for them. They won't revert TH shields. They might relent on some of the other topics, percent for league loot, percent for shield, collector rate increase (still "loot problems" and they've been making people pay for how long?), or a real increase to league loot bonus. Things of this nature. I don't see them ever giving Heros during war. That seems like a no brainier nice thing for you players, but they want gem sales on starting and finishing them early so you can continue to enjoy the game. The other clash clones allow hero upgrades in their "lab" and your "Heros" never is un-usable. Which is smart considering it is a fundemental part of the game and to attack and defend without it seems...well "not like the game was intended" lol

I cut my gem spending down to basically nothing and am not happy with SC dev team. I think this was a bad business move changing game mechanics in such a drastic way when there are true paying customers playing and paid because they liked the old method. Shady move...not even going on the release timing right before a holiday and how long it's still taking for any kind of "honey" update instead of all "stick" making things...kinda harder in a already long drawn out grinding game.
