Any particular reason for that stupid lie? You know who it makes look like a "clown"? Not me.

I didn't "have a go" at you at all, and I most certainly never said anything about you "not responding fast enough".

In fact you described one of my responses as "belated".

I would never even consider the possibility of calling a response "Not fast enough" unless it was at least 2-3 days delay.

He has still not replied after several hours (we all have other stuff to do, so don't make a point of getting a quick response, then disappear ♥♥♥♥).
Again, I have never in any forum made any point about getting a quick response. That is simply not how forums work - as I pointed out to you in my response to your post calling mine "belated".

    OK.

Why are you not using the same troops?

Removal of TH snipe didn't make any difference to the level of base you will see, so why can't you still use the same troops you did before?

If it is because you relied on hitting dead bases before, then all the reports suggest there are more of them around again now (and my experience bears that out). I still think their apparent removal was probably an accidental byproduct of the new shielding system, rather than deliberate action by SC - though it doesn't really matter to those not finding them whether it was deliberate or not.

Neither would I, and neither does the Loot Cart do that, from what we have been told.

Agreed!! Hanging out Masters and I'm accumulating DE faster than ever. I'm using 2 or more golems and dark spells per attack as well.

Regular elixir is slow for me, but I'm getting there.

That is definitely true. And I am pretty sure they did not predict human behaviour well enough at all. I'm sure they did not expect a mass drop to silver league by TH10/11 players.

Though that is, of course, rather difficult to test

nor does this latest update address everything that needs fixing at the moment.
No, it mainly just addresses the most complained about aspect.

The shield issue is HUGE. It needs to be much, much, much easier to get a shield. In my opinion it is CRAZY that folks can get attacked again and again and again before getting a shield.
I think this is only a significant issue for those high TH players in low leagues.

And IF (big IF) the star bonus is big enough and with decent differences between leagues, it could well deal with this issue, by actually encouraging those people who currently carry out deliberate 29% attacks to instead go for stars and move up leagues.

I'm excited to see how these additions play out.

I love the idea of a daily bonus. I think encouraging people to play more is good for everyone.

    Overly complex

The new additions seem like interesting ideas that could solve the loot problem if it is well modeled.
Unfortunately, it seems obvious that these were added to better approximate a non-linear problem,
since with enough parameters you can fit an elephant.
Anyone whom has ever worked on modeling complex data can tell you, it takes a long time
to find a good solution when you overfit the data. The best solution would have been to find
the correct model based on the existing parameters.
Here Supercell seems to have taken their solution directly from Heath Robinson.

Gentlemen, you can’t fight in here. This is the War Room!

While I can agree this was an "easy button", that was the game for 3 years. I am only stating the very obvious fact that with this taken away and more "war type" bases it is forcing everyone to play a certain way. While some people can adapt and others can continue on as though nothing has happened it does alienate a segment of the clash community. While I didn't suggest anything, I will now suggest supercell make some adjustments, which they do seem to be doing. I was however trying to make the point that we shouldn't just assume the people who are struggling with this game are merely "playing wrong". personally I have enough time to make this new system work for me, but I can see the other side of the coin for those who have kids or demanding jobs or anything else really, that doesn't allow them hours a day to raid. They are used to using loot amassed from collectors and mines and a couple cheap and fast raids a night.. They then got sniped, loot intact and was able to continue progressing albeit slowly. With this new system they are attempting to raid now with war armies (regardless of that being right or wrong) and only get one attack in and now see their winnings stolen from them seconds after they log out. Throughout their busy day they may see another raid on their stores during work, perhaps another just before they finally have a chance to log in after the kids are in bed. To them they feel like sisyphus and the task of upgrading their base is insurmountable. If this is a game strictly for the focused or avid gamer then all is well and good, but if this is a game for a diverse crowd, people from all walks of life as it was for 3 years then changes need to be made. People who just tell them they are playing the game wrong are not helping this situation.
    Best post in a century.

It's an obstacle that appears after you get attacked, like a tree or gem box is now, and contains a set amount of resources, theoretically in proportion to the amount you lost in the attack, or perhaps corresponding to your TH level or experience level.

Can only one of these things appear on your map at any time, or could a more casual or patient player just wait to get attacked a bunch and then pop a bunch of these at once and suddenly have enough to pay for a Level 2 Golem upgrade or a Level 3 Pekka?
We have no idea how it will appear on your map, or even if it will be on the map itself at all.

Nor do we have any idea how much it will be able to hold, nor how much the "treasury" will hold.

I'm beginning to wonder just how much this bonus is going to be. Any ideas?
