    I think the idea is ok but agree that it continues to over complicate things.

    Why not augment a mechanism we already have?

    Significantly increase the tombstone loot. Reward great defense and killing all those troops that attack you (this is a much more logical reward play system than basing it off of percentage loot you are losing).

    Each tombstone could be an even split of gold/elixir. It could be set (as is now), league or town hall dependent or-

    Percentage (or all) of the army cost (that you kill) that is attacking you, including dark troops. This helps resource savings and recovery, encourages great defense, and functions as a defensive bonus everyone keeps asking for.

    I couldnt agree more!

    Before update i used a slow cooking army when my clan pushed, for cw or when i wanted and had time to do so and this choice has pretty much been taking away now. Now i cant win unless i spend atleast 1.5+ hour waiting since i only see strong th10 and 11.
    Of course people who always pushed and either boosted barracks, sf, heroes or waited 1.5 hour between attacks do not seem to have a problem with this update.
    I often had boost sessions before update but with the army i now need for an attack it doesnt really seem to be worth it anymore, atleast to me.
    Im a th11 in champ 2-1 thinking about dropping down using giants/gobs and only go for single storages without giving shields(as intended?) just to get some fun back and to attack more often like i used to.
    I would never had gotten addicted to a game with 1.5+ hours between attacks and would never had spend a single $ if the game had been like this when i started.

    My problem isnt loot but a boring game with limited choices!

    I just wanna share my expirience these whole month after updates.
    TRULLY, I, Myself NEVER getting stop upgrading my AQ which lv 30 till 33 (tommorow).
    FYI, It cost 500k DE. Honestly, i dont find it hard with GIBARCH strategy.

    Just make 20 giants, 80 arch, 14 WB with 4 EQ and 2 rage n 1 heal, then you could get loot at least 300k Gold n Elixir plus 1,5k DE.

    STOP WHYNING AND START GIVING SOLUTION, thats REAL CHIEF

    For SC, I'm looking forward for your newest updates LOOT CART, Great jobs for SC in these high pressure conditions

    I'm remaining skeptical, but it's hard to be pessimistic!

    I will note that I see the 'bonus per day' change as a move towards a system like the Clash Royale system. For those of you who don't play, you only get rewarded for playing 1-2 times/day. You literally get nothing for playing more than that!

    But again, thank you for posting this, SC!

    Loot cart.. It's illogical that you get loot for being looted. Why not a true defensive bonus for a defence attacks with 50% army or something like that?
    Defensive bonus was the first thing I thought of when chatting with the clan about how SC could rebalance the economy. At the time, the problem with that was that it rewarded players who aren't playing. But, if I understand correctly how the loot cart will operate, it would work perfectly with defensive bonuses. If players have to collect their loot cart resources to avoid losing them all on their next defense, then they'd have to log in before their shields expire to collect those bonuses.

    Awesome. And so true. Says it all really

    If this game hadn't been SO popular in the first place, and had so many loyal players, it would've faded fast right after that December update. People are still hanging around and checking in hoping for something to save the game.
    I don't know how much longer the loyalty will keep people around. The 'real chiefs' will be the last ones standing. And after knocking the casuals who have been demolished by the December update, maybe when they become the smallest fish in an ever shrinking pond, they will understand the problem, and wish they had also stood up for the REAL casual player community.... but I kind of doubt it. That selfish mentality doesn't work that way.

    My solution:

    Decrease the cooking time for troops, spells and heroes. Cooking time significantly (not supercell definition either) decreases with league.

    You get a percentage of elixir back (purple and dark) for every successful attack. The percentage significantly increases with leagues.

    I think this would solve most problems.

    I have been saying this for THREE YEARS... shows how much SC listens to me.
