    They haven't said anything to indicate whether or not it will be tied to league level, but I would be amazed if it isn't.

    Doesn't solve people dropping from higher leagues.
    Doesn't solve 29% in a row.
    Doesn't solve clouds in higher leagues.
    Doesn't solve lack of dead bases.
    Doesn't solve boring waiting times leading to less attacks (maybe the number of attacks in some way, if the daily bonus is worth it).
    Doesn't solve matchmaking too thigh at the beginning of a new TH level.
    Doesn't solve the fact that it's better to loose to have a shield and fill your cart, while winning a defense still let you vulnerable to another attack.
    I hope it'll help to save the game for players who don't have time to connect throughout the whole day to play.

    This update as announced isn't intended to address anything but the loot/progression issues. i.e. not being able to gain/hold enough loot to build big upgrades.

    Pb and shield stuff isn't and issue, simply design or steal a base that has lots of outer buildings in a ring around your base, v likely to get a shield from a half decent attack, shield sorted.

    Take 15 minutes out from the game every few hours (who needs to be online for a constant 4 hrs anyway?)
    Pb fixed.

    Loot is the issue and it's what is actively being resolved.

    How does it address the loot issue? By making loot harder to steal from a 'vault' inside the CC?

    Edit: Shield stuff is a massive issue. I'd love to see a screenshot of your base and I'll show you how easy it is to hit one or two storages without giving you 30% for a shield. I can also tell you how easy it is to take nearly any DE tank (no matter how well protected) for about 12% damage to your base and if I get the TH as well, then what a bonus for me.

    That is not how I understand it.

    The loot you get back is extra loot being added. The attacker still gets just as much, but then a % of what they take is added back in to your loot cart as completely new loot.


    I'm not sure how this is supposed to fix the economy. It looks like the new update will only help the most casual of players.
    It will help them less than the more active players, since it also includes the star bonus - which you won't be able to get without making at least two winning attacks per day.

    Rubbish.

    If you defend and lose no loot, then all you lose is the re-arm cost.

    If you get smashed and lose all your available loot, then you lose the rearm cost plus most of what was stolen.

    They are only giving you a portion of what was stolen back, not all of it (and almost certainly a fairly small proportion).

    So you are definitely still better off protecting your loot than allowing it to be stolen.

    Again we can discuss on what farming is... IMO, COC is special enough to have created its own farming definition.

    IMO, SC just wanted to add some fun in the farming in COC by bringing big army, spells etc...
    After that it appeared that it was in fact less fun because people struggled to make profit.
    Now they attempt to solve this. Ok, it looks more like a patchwork of measure without true overview but they try to satisfy the players along with the new way they want their game to be played.

    Clash of clan is about challenging other players around the world. Your definition of farming would be correct if the loot you get didn't come from other players (just like farming in WOW). The one mistake SC made for me was getting their player lazzy by giving them the impression they were alone in the game (Sniping/Hiding and bash Dead bases). And suppress both without communicate was brutal and disrespectful.

    But now that the looting package seems to be complete, let's improve WAR!! The most fun and interesting part of the game.

    No.

    You have to win 5 stars in a day to get the daily star bonus.

    That will take at least two successful attacks, more if you don't manage a full 3 stars on at least one.
