    I tend to agree with this. That could indeed create a whole new loophole

    I would prefer to win a defense bonus as a reward for a good defense. And I really mean a good defense, not a "clever-defense-loose-willingly-30%-to-get-a-shield". Still not happy with this 30% double rule. I don't mean I don't currently get shield when successfully attacked, that's not it. I manage with ou without the shield (well...until up to 3 millions gold saved and there I get trashed, can't save more since the update). What I mean is that the concept of designing a weaker base to be able to save some loot behind a shield still doesn't feel right to me... Not to mention the distasteful 29% serial attacks...

    Yea appreciate the effort but not enough. A daily login bonus and a small return on the 3 times I get attacked a day mean almost nothing. Let's see what happens though, maybe I'll still be around

    Amusing how so many folk talk about how this isn't enough as if it's going to be the final system of aquiring loot that's implemented

    It's a good start...and begins to build on what will be a better game. A need for TH snipes and dead bases is cheap and implys a broken game pre update (being popular doesn't mean otherwise)

    Also people still finding this complicated?! How low is the average IQ on these forums?!?

    1.You click a button after you've been raided to recover some lost loot - it goes into your CC

    2. You gain 5 stars a day to achieve the daily bonus

    I mean seriously, can some of you even dress yourselves in the morning?

    Imo loot cart refund should be higher on lower th levels. I'm th10 and rarely lose more than half lootable resources, i don't have problems on losing loot. Th9 and lower get steamrolled, i feel bad for them.
    Actually, that makes a lot of sense. Good point about active vs inactive. It should be 40-50%. Since I'm only working on walls + heroes, this isn't absolutely needed (not complaining though if it really makes saving easier). But seeing clanmates that are early 8 or 9 getting crushed and dismayed with the game pains me. I grew up to a more advanced base with the cheap shield so I could progress a lot faster. Very rare did someone attack for more than the townhall.

    I hate that just now the game has completely reversed course and just now are they starting to try to change things. They should have anticipated more of these problems honestly. Many threads detailed exactly what would happen after all... and of course those all came true.

    My biggest problem with all this is the lack of a beta test. That's inexcusable IMO.
