    This game isn't remotely complex to me. However I can see it being an issue.

    I can see it being an issue because for what the game is, it is more complex than some similar games of this type. Which can be a bad thing for certain audiences that don't enjoy that much depth.

    Thats the danger of game design. Trying to appease the masses, and when you add more you just end up overwhelming people. There ARE ways to combat this by adding a little at a time.

    However, the changes such as a treasury, loot cart, and a 5 star bonus isn't what I'd call complex because it's hardly a new game mechanic.

    An issue? Maybe an inconvenience. I liked the game more pre update than I do post, but seems like SC has made it clear it's not reverting. So basically just rolling with the punches. I feel pretty good with the progress I've made for how expensive th10 upgrades are. And my clan(real life friends and family) are in good spirits, so it's game on as usual. Though just cause I'm happy, doesn't mean it's working for everyone. Who knows, maybe these tweaks will help. We'll just have to wait and see.

    something will still need to be done about 1.5 hour armies and the social aspect of the game. When making armies that take that long folks log off and we lose all social aspects in clan. This needs some sort of attention.

    I assume that when this tweak comes out they will remove the 1 gem boost and dead bases again. The dead bases while easy still allow us to use cheaper faster armies. This needs to stay around is some fashion. While dead bases should maybe not be the bread and butter of resource acquisition, there has to be something where you can still attack and gain loot and move forward, especially elixir.

    Games can survive without changes over time? What world do you live in? Prior to online gaming, games had a very short shelf life. I played Mario, I beat Mario, then I only came back for nostalgia. Developers have to continue to work on games as long as they want it to survive. If SC had stopped with TH8 then this game and forum would be gone.

    If you double the number of people in Legends league, then there will, on average, be twice as many of them going on defence each hour. But there's also twice as many people sitting in clouds waiting for something to happen.     What's scary is that from the little SC have said, and the mere fact they introduced a feature that would so obviously make the clouds much worse, it seems like they maybe don't understand it.
    Are there clouds in Bronze-Master? No. Why? Because there are a lot of people there. What happens when you start to hit 3400 cups? You start seeing the same 50-60 bases while searching. That means there were only that many bases not online or under a shield. The higher you get the less people and thus more clouds. It's not rocket science.

    These changes don't address anything... don't know why people are excited. It's a bunch of shiny looking new stuff that doesn't actually do anything.

    It's pretty easy SC:
    Add a defensive bonus
    Increase win bonus by 50%
    Allow dead bases to be put in the normal rotation of nexting

    Done. Is it shiny and new? Nope, but it fixes your actual problems.
