may like this :
1. every 5* get some bonus, 5* 10* 15* ........ players will get spirit to collect many stars per day
2. star bonus apply if players starring to attack same townhall level or above. or lower townhall level will be killed with this update
3. make diferent bonus for any league. or many players will drop down their trophies because very hard to get stars in higer league

While I do understand that a lot of people are struggling, this loot cart sounds cheap. I just don't like. "You just got raided, lost a bunch of loot, we feel bad for you, here's some loot back". Instead, why can't they come up with better criteria for shields. Implement a defense win bonus, something instead of 29% trolls. I do like the star bonus idea, 5 is a little easy for some people. Want to increase the number of times people attack, keep giving bonuses for stars. 5, 10, 20. Sounds better than a loot cart.
I'm a new th9 from a maxed th8. I currently have full storages since I'm pretty active. If I take a defence from a good attacker, it is highly unlikely that I will win the defence. So I would have lost the loot and got no bonus. But with SC's way of giving bonus based on loot lost, I would actually get compensated for losing loot. Btw, I'm not counting defensive wins based on percentage, I'm basing them on if the attacker gained any trophies or not
Am I reading this right - no bonus for successful defence but if you have your loot stolen you get some back - an unsuccessful defence bonus - you couldn't make it up!
Ever since downloading this game two years ago, I have been of the opinion that CoC is a game made by excellent developers and mediocre game balance and design analysts. The current Th11 update and ensuing patches have only proven this to be true. It's like we are watching the "Top Ten Things NOT to do" playbook being run by SC right now. The number 1 obvious one being all of these knee jerk reactions that take the form of bandages on top of bandages, with ever increasing complexity. The loot cart for example. What exactly is the loot cart. When someone steals loot from you, you regain some loot back, that sits in the "cart", and requires you to....clear it with a builder? Click on it?...to get it back. So instead of simply reducing the amount of loot someone is able to steal from you, you employ your design team, art team, and developers to create a new in game object that adds NOTHING to the customer experience, confuses most people when you announce it, and requires yet another "click" amongst a sea of other meaningless "clicks" that are necessitated by the already huge amount of UI issues.

At least 20 or 30 for being an active member on their game. Some F2P games i play offer way more then SuperCell does in their Premium Resources. Its Earned mostly through daily challenges.
They need more then one challenge though.
1. Donate 50 capacity worth off CC troops.
2. !00% on a village attack.
3. Receive 2 defenses in 1 day.
4. Loot 200k in one day. (These need to be based on TH level)
5. Loot 200k gold in one day.(These need to be based on TH level)
6. Look 1k DE in one day.
7..... etc etc..
All for a total of like 50 gems.
This would make their game thrive.
(Basically a FULL 1h army boost with spells and heroes for free)
The result is people would get addicted to gems even more and increase purchases.
It would def make me wanna get on and attack EVERYDAY!!
