    Report from the titan 3 division...

    So before this update i was a maxed out TH10 with exception of walls, (arround half was 11)
    I usualy logged in twice a day and made sessions between 1 and 2 hours searching for something that was worth raiding and i did snipe every TH i came across. (TH outside was a free 230k of booth gold and elixer)
    This way I upgraded arround 2 walls to level 11 a day, so yeah decent result... BUT while i was searching i was allways watching youtube, anime, movie or reading a book (you have 1 to 2 mins of clouds average and thats when you search villages when players are active, if you searched on diffrent times when less active players, you can wait 10 mins or longer...) And i often wondered why do i play this game? Why not just watch youtube without coc? So why play? Well i have great clanmembers that was mainly the reason i kept playing coc...
    I did do a serious cup run once. trying to get into Titan 1 and maybe an attempt for legend... Well you serously need to be a compleet no-lifer or have 5 brothers or friends that will help you get trough those 6 hours sessions twice a day... Even if you have the time, there is so much more in live than go beyond titan 3 in those days....


    So COC after update...
    For me the game became actualy fun again, suddenly the search time went down alot! And the villages worth raiding increased by alot, in addition heroes were not allways present, there were actualy wizzards in the clancastle instead of allways those dogs!... I suppose before the update i would only find a defending village of people that were either testing it or thinking they could actualy win cups by defending.... (keep dreaming this game doesnt favor defenders...) And with the village guard of 2 hours (titan 3 bonus, titan 2 gets 3 hours and titan 1 goes 4 hours) i could do 3-4 atacks before i can be atacked again... And i dont mind doing only 1 atack each 2 hours... I mean this is casual gaming in a titan 3 league! Just because of that villague guard that increases i think its actualy possible to go to titan 1 in a casual way, and maybe reach legend by just boosting barracks and spellfactory.... (if your maxed TH11 offcourse)

    About me saving loot, not much problems, just made a base were the atacker has to go for either loot or TH, but will unlikely get booth even when he brings his level 20 warden... I pretty much lose all defs sometimes i win because the atacker went for loot and failed to get 50% but they usualy go for towhall, and fail to reach the storages that i want to protect.. (I admit i can only protect 6 storages, but since i can chose which 6 will most likely stay unharmed i never fail to upgrade the next thing when a builder is done )

    The main downside i feel is that as an atacker i m a TH10 without warden and a TH11 with warden...
    Since i pretty much kick my warden to the next level when he just finished the previous, that means i never have a warden at all.... (until he is 20...) And i can allready imagne the horror when those other two can go to 50.... Upgrading heroes has allways been an anoying issue except for the rich...
    Anyway as TH11 atacker i still feel way to much as a TH10 unlesh i have the warden with me.... I m not saying he should be nerfed, i just find it a bit dissapointing that for such a huge update it's just that one guy that increases my atack and he is sleeping 24/7 till march... (which is probably when the next update comes that adds stuff...)

    Anyway Titan 3 bonus went from 230k to 280k except that you need 70% destruction... So that means i bully the champ 1 and 2 division that have their heroes sleeping and wall 9... Yup thats the 70% destruction target (when you dont have a warden) So it would make more sense that the league your target is in should allso affect the bonus your getting not just the 70% destruction... Or when i find a TH9 thats just a easy 100% with half or no spells to use...

    So my addition to the next update would be that the league your target is in affects bonus aswell rather than destruction % only...

    Regards a Titan 3 farmer (I dont use this name in game i case you try finding me)

    While you started off in a direction I thought was going to be overly negative you ended strong. I agree they should offer some kind of reward for a successful defense. I do think they need something to help out the less advanced players as well so I am glad you didn't just say screw the weak bases but you offered a compromise with 5% and 10%. While I don't know what type of percentages should be involved I do agree a successful defense should be rewarded with more than just cups. Give the defender something like a league bonus and the defeated base the loot cart.

    The lack of dead bases happened with the update, so you think it took them three weeks to notice and fix the 'bug'? No, the change was deliberate and the restoration of dead base availability is an attempt to fix the economy, along with all these other hokey additions.

The spell factory should produce at least at 8x during boost as there are only 1 factory for each type of spells and multiple barracks. The boosting is completely off sync which makes it a waste of gems to boost. Supercell is a business and they want money so I'm sure they will never make it to where you don't feel the urge to buy gems, but given the publicity of this game, they could make it easier on the casual player (and those who don't have thousands of dollars to spend on gems) by making things a little more cost effective.

    • Provide more gems from village vegetation
    • Decrease Hero regeneration
    • Reduce troop training times
    • Increase spell training during boost or reduce standard training times
    • Give gem bonus for war wins through every league level


    Just make the game fun again and not so tedious. It feels more like work at times than a fun game.

    I think your idea of casual and my idea of casual are entirely different. I'm glad you are having success with the new system, I do think your idea of league bonuses being dependent upon opponents league is an interesting idea. Would have to think about that a little more but sounds good at first glance.
