I must disagree with your disagree here. I think the most painful point is different among players based on
a) what th/progression level they are
b) the league they are in
c) do they have a well defended base to begin with.
Gaining loot via raids was a major issue just after the update. recently loot available in raids is MUCH improved. many of my clanmates are hitting bases with loot totals that look like pre-upgrade. I'm mid-th9 in crystal 1 and loot is decent.
My own issue is still that once I hit >1.5 mil of a resource, and especially if I gain that in gold AND elixer -- or with 40k+ DE, I get hit by a stronger player (usually th10 or max th9) and lose 200k+/400k+/2k+. There is very little I can tweak to stop these overpowered attacks against me, and those lost resources takes quite a while (several raids for the elixer at least) to rebuild. So I can't really save for more than one upgrade/type at a time and four of my FIVE builders are now always sleeping. All the gold I get goes straight to my walls. once elixer upgrades are done it will go the same place. Dark Elixer I need TONS of for remaining troop/hero upgrades.
This update explanation sounds goofy, but will wait and see and hope for the best.
