    I must disagree with your disagree here. I think the most painful point is different among players based on
    a) what th/progression level they are
    b) the league they are in
    c) do they have a well defended base to begin with.

    Gaining loot via raids was a major issue just after the update. recently loot available in raids is MUCH improved. many of my clanmates are hitting bases with loot totals that look like pre-upgrade. I'm mid-th9 in crystal 1 and loot is decent.

    My own issue is still that once I hit >1.5 mil of a resource, and especially if I gain that in gold AND elixer -- or with 40k+ DE, I get hit by a stronger player (usually th10 or max th9) and lose 200k+/400k+/2k+. There is very little I can tweak to stop these overpowered attacks against me, and those lost resources takes quite a while (several raids for the elixer at least) to rebuild. So I can't really save for more than one upgrade/type at a time and four of my FIVE builders are now always sleeping. All the gold I get goes straight to my walls. once elixer upgrades are done it will go the same place. Dark Elixer I need TONS of for remaining troop/hero upgrades.

    This update explanation sounds goofy, but will wait and see and hope for the best.

    If you play it the way it was intended to play it takes about 2hours to have an army,
    if you only 1 star the enemy's you raid it takes atleast 10 hours a day to get that reward🙈
    Would be nice if they bring back Th sniping, then it wouldnt be so hard to get 😜

    Let me lay out a real game experience post December patch.

    TH10
    AQ 22
    BK 25
    Walls mostly 10 some 9
    Was a max 9 so upgrading from there

    Post Dec update:

    My trophy count has climbed up to 3200 from defense. I actually had walked away from the game for about 3 weeks because of the update and only collected from my collectors. Every base I find is a solid defensive setup. To successfully attack I need to build a pretty expensive army and that can get stuffed. The cost of the army is really only the first element and by itself could be managed.

    Here is where it gets more economically challenging. Lets go with a 6 Golem attack (160k elixer, 5200 DE cost), about 2 1/2 hours to produce. Luanch my attack, result is ~55% 1 or 2 star on a solid TH10 or scrub TH11. Loot take probably around 150-200k of each 3k DE plus my 80% champs 1 bonus of 160 each and 1000 DE. 310k of each 4K DE. Start my next army and log off. Get notification of village being raided. Log in to see a TH11 hits me for 250-300k gold, 180k elixer and 3500 DE. So a wash on gold, a wash on elixer after army cost, and I was in negative on DE before the raid so -3500 added to the already -1000 from army cost. But I got a shield. Now my next army will be ready 2 1/2 hours into my 12 hour shield so 9 1/2 hours left minus the 3 hour penalty for attacking will leave me 6 1/2 hours of shield. Rinse and repeat attack results.

    On good day when Im not at work busy with stuff I can badically get 2-3 attacks in during my shield process. Overall I'm gaining very little after army cost and getting wiped by a maxed out TH11, I'm 100% losing DE regardless of attack and defense results based on army cost. Giants really just dont cut it against level 3 infernos so golems or get stuffed. Anyone that posts about Barching at these trophy counts post december update is full of it. It's very discouraging and as a TH10 trying to max out defensives structures that cost 8mil gold a pop its very difficult as your available loot makes you a very attractive target and an easy target because your defensive structures arent maxed out. So its a vicious cycle, heros and defenses arent maxed so I'm an easy target therefore saving to max out it very difficult.

    Yezz indeed, this problem is even bigger then the loot issues! Waiting on your troops to become ready ... This is effecting the whole gameplay, in a negative way

    I am not against these ideas but none will fix the problems we face. These are overly complicated new features that don't address the problem. So many wonderful suggestions out there and the fact that the gem boost has improved the economy proves we need a much higher output.

    These solutions are fine additions but we need defensive loot bonus, shield based on % of army used & loot taken, increased collector output, increased league bonuses.

    How can you say this is fair

    Before up date you could use a hero so no cost to earn loot bonus & keep doing this until you find anther snipe because no cooking time for troops ppl you raided got free shield you got loot every one happy. Now after update you have to use best troops to win raids with two stars & get enough percentage for max loot bonus then wait to cook troops to raid again. You have taken away form us a way we could get lots of loot & cups & give us a shield that we can hide behind and get a few raids behind.

    Dead BASES

    Just give us dead bases that's all we need! Don't take villages out of matchmaking so early! If I am offline on my mini account The village gets out of matchmaking after about 48 hours offline! Offline means never open the game otherwise that doesn't work! JUST GIVE US MORE DEAD BASES AND ALL THE FARMERS WILL BE HAPPY

    I've said this in other threads, but I'll add it again here: Th out did not remove bases from matchmaking permanently.
    They came up to be attacked every 12 hours.

    If they were full of loot (stores, mines&collects, or both) they got flattened. If not full then they were either nexted over, or hit for just the TH & league bonus. The time between the hits allowed them to fill up.

    Now they don't get the time needed to fill up by being removed from the matchmaking cue, so there's less loot in the overall game, and bases without loot stay in the cue longer as well.

    Lets hope the update adds enough loot for cases like this. Enough daily reward from the 5* bonus and % back from defense that you come out ahead.

    You might also try some other attack combos that work better for certain type of loot. I switch to air attacks to build dark elixir. And use golem usually only 4 being effective enough to build elixir up without losing DE. Ash posted some examples with giants that also worked pretty well for me against maxed TH10 and one thing helped is skipping multi inferno for a single target inferno.
