    Unless your star bonus is like a million of each for players in champs league+ this is an utterly usless idea.

    The cost of the armies required to successfully attack at 3200+ as a TH10 are not even being covered by the current league bonuses and you will rarely find a base you can steam roll for better than mid 50% 1 maybe 2 stars. Unless of course I want to buy gems and max my king and queen out.... Saving elixer and DE is basically a complete joke, very discouraging. The only thing I really enjoy anymore in the game is clan wars... So 2 attacks every 47 hours is what I get.

    I don't understand supercell, why do u have to invent the wheel to solve the loot problem?

    The simple solution is...
    .

    .


    Just increase the current output from all the collectors....

    They have increased the output of collectors many, many times before. It has never effected the economy in any way, in my opinion. They would have to produce 10x more to support a TH10, and even then what's to say you won't get hit and that loot will be gone? The only way in my opinion is to increase the league bonus and increase the ability to store resources so that more active players can't wreck inactive ones for 300 300. The only thing collector buffs will do is make the game easier for everyone.

    Isn't intended to. AIUI, this update is intended mainly to improve the loot retention issues created by the December update.

    Doesn't solve the fact that it's better to loose to have a shield and fill your cart, while winning a defense still let you vulnerable to another attack.
    I have never understood this "issue". It has been very rare for any of my 3 accounts to lose any significant loot to an attack that failed to give a shield. It may be more common for higher TH players sitting in artificially low trophy levels, and if so, then again, giving them an incentive to move to higher leagues would alleviate that issue.

    But all of the points I have made do depend on the star bonus being good enough to give people a real incentive to go for it, and to move to higher leagues.

    I hope it'll help to save the game for players who don't have time to connect throughout the whole day to play.
    I'm not sure it will help the ultra casual players much at all. But should make a difference to the ones who would attack 2-3 times per day.

    I think they have continued with the 1 gem boost as they didn't foresee what was going to happen to the economy and its a bit of an emergency measure. Everyone on our clan knew it was going to happen, it was obvious that removing 80% of attacks that cost nothing and brought in a full league bonus would do that (they should remove that, I have getting two stars with 50% and a significantly reduced bonus). Its one of the many ill thought our changes.

    Problem for me as a new TH10, I need all my spells/heroes etc to make an attack. Near two hour cook time. Its not going to make me attack more. If its significant then I'll just have to look for weak bases, if its SC significant (i.e not worth anything) then it won't make a difference.

    SC should bite the bullet and roll back the % bonus (or properly increase it, as it has in effect been significantly reduced). They also need to reduce cook times, or increase the barracks boost so that it works at 10x on spells/dark troops and heroes. Its become unplayable.

    I think the problem is that the devs have lost sight of who and why we play the game. If I wanted to playing a complex game I'd play chess. I want to play something that is fun.


    Having the treasury is a good idea and the loot cart is also interesting as these should both allow progression past the equilibrium points that we reach, where the daily losses are equal to what we get from the collectors. Lets hope its not another bodge.

    You may be right but increase loot creation is apparently not their only goal. They also want to increase exchanges and a fairer way to make loot between players. They want to reward attacking playser without penalize defender to much.

    It may also have the side effect to improve attacking level for war, or at least have less gowipe fails in wars LOL
