Actually this does inject new loot into the game. Attacker keeps what he takes, you get a little back. Bonus loot for five stars, that is new loot.

Gotcha. I misunderstood. I didn't realize the attacker still gets to keep everything he takes.

You are definitely low leveled or low TH.
in the previous 48 hours it's been harder to get high loot bases, they just stopped boosting even with the 1gem boost.

That is not what I have been finding.

I have a TH9 which has just dropped to Crystal 1, a TH8 in Masters 3, and a TH7 in gold.

All three have still been finding pretty good loot.

they should know that aside from those super hard core kids that have their parent's credit cards, most people who actually spend money is the one who have money (work everyday, thus become a casual since they don't have that many time to play)

there's also this logic that:
people who works = don't have much time = use their money for gems = gem to catch up to others who play more

We can only use what we perceive as logic to guess how much the different types of players actually spend.

Supercell however, have actual figures, and I am sure they have analysed them in depth. They know whether the bulk of their income comes from hardcore players making double figure numbers of attacks per day, or from average players making 2-3 attacks per day, or from casuals making 1 attack per day or less.

If the casuals made a significant portion of their income, I'm sure they would not risk alienating them the way they have.

I'm skeptical. That tone of the announcement ... Trying to selling us a fix for a problem that they caused in such in such idiotic way. We've gone through this before.

I hope it solves the loot problem. I really do. I would hate to see that the 'amazing' resource bonus for the 5 star quest! to be in the order of 100k-100k-1k.... Yay...

They have to give us a bonus of at least a million each plus 2.5k de if they want that bonus to be well received.

It should depend on league & maybe townhall as well. For someone in titan what would 100k/100k/100 de mean? nearly nothing. What would it mean for a new player who just started? It means full storages every day nearly for free. If it is based on league & equal lets say to 3 x league bonus then it would be good imo as people will be pushing to the highest point at which they can find balance between attacking, defending & getting the daily bonus + league bonus.
