    Why do you believe that?

    I would expect the star bonus to be league based - and if the steps between leagues are big enough, and the bonus is big enough to be meaningful, then it will certainly encourage people getting to a higher trophy range.

    Even just giving a bonus for 5 stars in a day means that people are encouraged to make at least two meaningful attacks per day, in which they will be gaining trophies.

    No you don't. There is still a cap in place - which even at TH11 is only 450K, at TH9 it is 350K


    If SC only gives back 1% of what you lose post update you would get back 5k Gold and Elixir. You lose 495k for a 16 hour shield when prior to the update you would lose 1k for a 12 hour shield.
    I do agree that 1% would be pretty meaningless, and expect it to be a lot more.


    My idea of significant and fair in this case is getting 75% back or 375k. I don't mind losing 125k or 25%.
    But I don't expect it to be anything like that high.

    I am expecting more like 20-25% returned.

    Remember, this is extra loot being injected into the economy - the attacker isn't going to lose that from his loot. There is no way they are going to inject 75% of all stolen loot as additional resources.

    Yes, I am filling expecting to be disappointed and I think the community will be too whenever SC releases their so-called significant loot fix.
    It doesn't matter what they do, many will be expressing disappointment, because that is the way these forums work

    If u r giving us a star bonus its better b big, I don't want like 5k or 10k for 5 stars
    If u want u can increase the number of stars required for bonus
    Or may b make it start at 5 stars and let it build up as the star increases
    But please its better b something significant.

    Instead of loot crate I would like a bonus for successful defences, I mean if m gonna get a loot crate even after loosing a defence then what's the point of defending?
    I'd like to b rewarded for successful defences rather than being compensated for a lost defence.


    Don't remove the dead bases from matchmaking, if someone doesn't check the game on daily bases, he should b punished by losing loot, not being rewarded by not getting attacked, plus it's a good way to keep the game balanced, it keeps people interested in the game, when they know that there is a possibility of a huge amount resources in the next search.


    It sounds good, but I'll still like to b reserved on this one and will decide ine i play the new update coz in recent times we have lost our faith in coc team.

    I realy hope star bonus is linked to league bonus, and maybe your town hall level. Like (town hall level / 2) * league bonus. That would be a nice addition. However I pretty sure we will all be disappointed and it would be like 1000 gold or something like that.

    Loot Cart do not make sense, the more incapable you are at defending the more you get. what is that about? It would make a lot more sense if like say your storage loot + league bonus is divided by attacker and defender in raids where the attacker uses at least 50% of his troops and take at least one storage. The defender will get what's left of the loot+bonus after the attacker has taken his share. If the attacker gets 100% the defender gets nothing. Collector loot is not included in this. That would be a great addition to the game, loot cart is not.

    Dude you are thinking only for urself as a TH10 or TH11 , but think about TH8's TH7's and especially the TH9's that have a big deficit being in the same pool with TH10's and getting almost all the times rekt by thier supperior armies.
    So no, i like the loot cart to be based on stolen resourses something like 10-15% is enough (still better than nothing). And about the 5 Star bonus should be based only on TH level (like 100k 100d th7, towards a 500k 1500(more seems too much)de? th11)

    What do you mean with "defending" ?

    The way most people are "defending" today is by dropping in low leagues, so they get untouched. I have a TH11 base (coming from fully maxed TH10) and I can tell you in higher leagues, there is no way you can really defend against people attacking with strong armies (gowiwi, gowipe, 6 golems) and GW.

    I hope the loot cart will be a % of the opponent's troop cost and based on the league... meaning those guys attacked with barch in low leagues will get about nothing from it, while being attacked by 6 golems in higher league you'll get a decent pay back. That would simply sound logical to me.

    It isn't the same at all, in terms of the overall game economy, nor in terms of retained loot, given the loot cart goes into your treasury.

    If they reduced the % available to steal, that would not change the overall amount of loot in the game.

    By giving back a %, they are adding that much into the overall economy, since the attacker will not be losing it.

    And then for you as a defender, if the returned loot goes into the treasury, you won't lose much of it the next time you get hit, while if it was still in your main storages you would lose the standard %.


    I hope they don't screw up the quest thing by giving like 10k gold for 5 stars, but I have no confidence it won't be an insignificant amount. And it's still just a 1-time bonus, so it's really just like collecting a little more resources. It won't help much unless it's a bonus for EVERY 5 stars.
    It is once per day, not just a 1-time bonus.

    It depends on how much it is, whether it will help much. Again, it is addition loot being injected into the economy. But unless it is a decent amount, it won't encourage people to try for it, and unless there is a decent step change per league, it won't encourage people to climb trophy levels either.

    If it is a decent amount and a decent step change, then it will do both of those things. I hope Supercell recognise that it needs to be decent if it is to make a difference.

    While gaining over 1 million from his collectors over the same period.

    And of course the 29% attacks will be fewer (not that I have seen any yet) because everybody will be trying for at least 2-3 attacks gaining stars per day.

    SC said they wanted to help people save loot but how is losing more loot then you gain helping?
    I would think most reasonably active people will not be losing more than they gain.

    I don't think the game is really intended for casual players who can only mount 1 attack per day, and the star bonus is clearly intended at least partly as an incentive to be more active than that.

    Whether it is acceptable to effectively push out such casual players is another argument, but it is clear SC are trying to incentivise active play rather than just coasting.
