Had decides no gems til fix, but it seems this last couple week hiatus from game and that knowledge just may what I needed to "kick" my addiction. Lol.

I didn't notice that I was gemming a lot, to be honest.

Especially when I was at th9. I would farm a lot in a day (easy university schedule back then didn't help as well) and I would occasionally gem my royals' upgrade times, and boost barracks with the leftover gems. I would buy on average 2500 or something gems a week, an odd box of gems (6500 gems) sometimes when I feel that week is gonna be easy on my schedule and could boost barracks non-stop, and gem my heroes' upgrades or sometimes even lab upgrades.

By the time I was a fresh th10 (pre-update), I farmed non-stop and gemmed a whole lot of upgrade times (army camps, spell factory, lab, golem and hound upgrade times) because I was farming a lot and had some excess gems from my spending spree when I was a th9.

When I totalled my bill, I was shocked. Lol. I could've bought a new phone with what I spent :/

I'll happily spend it again IF they fix all the issues.

I started out 10.00 then 20.00 and 50.00 a better deal.
I didn't really mind supporting Supercell till this update. Now they don't care about how 80% users played the game so i am not quitting but i am done buying gems. They put their foot down Not Going Back.....no problem NOT BUYING ANOTHER GEM so who's the loser not me i am still playing

I'll always tried to keep a running total. When I actually added it up, I was only off by around $20 I think, so not so bad.

Assuming you have a life outside of coc, if you did the same thing and took a look at how much you spent on other forms entertainment from the last 2-3 years the costs may similarly shock you, things like:

• dining out
• movies/sporting events
• drinking
• recreational mind altering substances
• holidays

At the end of the day you are just paying for time to keep yourself and others who engage in the activity with you preoccupied and entertained or to keep funding that addiction if that is where you are at in clash.
