If you only care about war weight then don't build any new defense!!!!!!
My war account has th7 defense except air d is maxed. I recently moved to TH9 and built only the queen traps and storages. Also upgraded lab camps and spells. Still ranked as a mid th8 with max walls. No one can hog me with 4 DB and no one can dragon me with queen and extra air bombs.
Dragons on there way to 4. beast mode ranked th8. GL.
