Yep, am playing less.

I even boost here & there, but there's no joy and a vague sense of guilt at being an addict. Luckily, the game is so boring now that I'm getting over the addiction. I didn't WANT to get over the addiction. :<

But I echo the above: clan is iffy, long req wait times, low chat. Loot's out there, but what's the point? I'm not a greatly skilled attacker, so it's better just to sit under shield and gem the collectors while they're cheap.

I really resent this game now in ways i didn't when I was fully addicted. Now, it's just a job, and one that I'm coming to loathe.

Have to agree with your point about it being coming more a tedious job as opposed to a time waster. I remember at the end of my wow days a few years back, I started to have the same feeling with all the dailies that needed to be done. Same with evony even further back. When a game becomes a chore, it is time to move on, or at least put it on hold until needed changes arrive.

Agree. Focusing on war and social aspect of the clan now. Multiplayer / farming not motivating for me right now.

I wonder SC isn't probably too unhappy about the situation. They probably wanted some non-gemming players to play less to reduce load on their servers (and in the same breath, gemmers to play more and gem more!).

This isn't a complaint thread nor a support thread, just an observation of myself. Pre update I would clash whenever my barch army was cooked or whenever I had time for a boost session. At the end of the season, I normally would have near or past 1000 attacks won. Post update, I wait for my heros to regenerate rather than my barch army to cook up. And I never boost now due to barch losing its effectiveness. This past season I had under 200 attacks.

Did SC intend to do that to its players? And are you guys experiencing the same effect?

I am more on the forums than in game. Now I only attack 2 times every other day - war attacks. If nothing significantly perceivable is done, I'm done...

Last season i have got 300+ attacks signd in my profile lol. I am playing the same as before

Did 1 attack this season, just because I don't like the grey shield.
Breaking the shield got me steamrolled everytime, so I enjoy the shield, empty the collectors just before it's gone so there's not to much loot and leave. Waiting for better days to come.

Been following your posts and you've been consistent...thanks for being part of the community and hanging in there. I'm with you. And I hope there is a light coming soon at the end of the tunnel.

I'm pretty much the same. Prior to the update, a GiBarch was good enough to loot with (win or lose). I didn't need my heroes for a loot attack. Post update, I tried but I found that I really need heroes, golems, spells to secure a win and enough damage to get the loot bonus. So now I can only attack once every few hours depending on when everything is cooked and shield time, etc. As a result, I don't play much.

I was a pretty active player. I usually had between 1200-1600 attacks won per season(with maybe 10% being snipes while armies are cooking). Last season I had 500, but I boosted like a madman during the golden hour. So far this season a couple of days in I have a dozen.

Right now my armies are cooked, I'm shieldless and I just can't be bothered to attack. Can't explain it, feeling pretty apathetic in general about this new version of clash.

Yup, I attack once or twice a day now (sometimes not at all, if I don't feel like nexting for 1h), the lower activity is obvious, we can't even get minimum 10 people signed up for wars while we were warring 24/7 before the last patch. Great addiction cure I guess

Exactly the same! Our 122 war wins lvl7 clan is practically dead now, 1/3 of ppl have no shields, indicating lack of activity, and 1/2 have opted out..nobody chats...its a sad state of COC right now. Im guessing SC's strategy is: rid of oldtimers, lure new ppl who doesn't know better. Game is Ok when u start. Then when they going to hit a brick wall, past lvl7-8, they are hooked and HAVE to use gems..."brilliant"' SC! Just downloaded vainguard...
