The casual player is perhaps glancing at some posts sometimes but most aren't even aware this forum exists at all. So... The pushers are mostly quiet these days. Some are moaning about clouds in titan and up, but a look at the leaderboards and the huge increase of legends there should tell you most are happy with the update: they get more value for their money.
So that leaves the former-farmers on these forums. And easy farming and cheap shields on top of it are effectively removed from the game. So it's only logical everyone is crying out SC killed the game or whatever. But that's not what SC did. SC killed their game.That's not the same thing.
I think Clash of Clans has not been killed at all with this update, especially now SC has its attention on holding onto your loot in a way, which is important for the casual player. The only thing all these rants and complaints here tell me that the nice atmosphere on these forums may be killed. For the rest keep in mind it's mostly former-hardcore-farmers here...
