    How to farm at TH11?

I just upgraded to Town Hall 11 from a maxed TH10 and I'm struggling a lot at farming. My old method was to just use barch non stop and only look for collector raids, and collector raids only. It was a good plan and I could easily make a huge profit but it seems to me that I'm unable to find dead bases more profitably because the new update has made them a lot more rare. Previously, I could find a dead base in on average 100-150 searches but now I'm spending between 300 and 500k gold just on search and its impossible to cover the costs.

The other option is to use a more powerful giant-based attack combo, which works great at TH10 but not so much at TH11 because of the following reasons:
Firstly, you cannot attack TH9s profitably anymore, because of the loot penalty.
Secondly, any base you go up against will most likely have inferno towers, which are very dangerous to giants and barbs archers and wizards.
Thirdly, due to this, you will need multiple spells and heroes, and you also need to have wizards because gibarch won't be able to work against strong TH10s and even mid level TH10.
My heroes are maxed out and takes 1hr 48mins to regenerate, and without doubt i always need them to break into a th10 base, whereas previously I could attack a th9 without them. And I didn't need spells.
So adding all these extra requirements onto these attacks means that its very inefficient to use giant-based attacks because it costs so much elixir that you just can't cover the costs (250k~ per raid) and also you have to wait for heroes which are almost two hours.

I can't see anything else that might work. I did actually find farming with Gowiwi in Champion 2 to be moderately successful gaining good gold and elixir profit because you can hit 600k of each in one raid, including loot bonus, but costs a bit too much dark elixir, which means attacking once every two hours is 2-300k? per hour, quite slow but over a day u can get 2-4 million, depending on how consistent you are with attacking.

I doubt super queen will work for a TH11 because every base has infernoes and they block healing (you will only attack TH10-11s). Balloonion also always has to go up against the multi inferno.

I haven't tried laloon yet, perhaps it will work for farming too, but you need multiple spells again and both heroes (assuming you keep the warden upgrading).

So if any other TH11 has found a better more efficient way to farm please share below so we can help each other to learn :-). Based on the above reasons, I think farming at TH11 is very very difficult and even a veteran farmer with 2 billion gold grab is struggling.

Hopefully it will become easier to attack when new troop levels come out (level 7 wiz, level 8 giants and barch).

Got the warden yet? He actually makes gibarch very viable for the same reason he makes max witch attacks so powerful -- mass quantities of troops, all buffed.

I'm still gibarching at M1/M2 and it's cake. Here's the move:

Keep EQ spells on steady stream (including CC requests). Attack when you have 4+ of them. Looking for TH-offset bases, or a slightly more central spot that makes sense to open up so you can roll through with your army. Eliminates need for costly WBs, but you can throw a couple in if you want. I also bring 2 heal and 1 rage just in case, but rarely need them, and you should try to avoid using them. Assuming I even need to use 1 regular spell, total gibarch army cost is around 150K and less than 1K dark (which you don't even care about if you have max heroes). Loot bonus alone should take care of that if you're Masters or higher.

Once your barch is massed behind giants, warden keeps them rolling strong. Use the tome once they get central, or if they approach infernos. Look for single infernos as well, they make this a breeze. If you have max heroes, you should be getting 50+% with your eyes closed (mine are only level 30), assuming you pick reasonably good bases. I next a decent amount but not near enough that it's an issue, and gold is by far the easiest resource to accumulate. It's always worth it to wait for the right base.

Gibarch, EQs, Warden + another hero or two, looking for single infernos and offset THs. Very simple, I have had 0 issue raiding since the update. Enjoy bud

Checked your stats, and I salute you sir on getting that far with collector raids.

Sounds mind numbingly boring to me, but to each his own.

There's a thread on page 3 (ish) which has a list of farming comps by TH level.

Giants giants giants! Just chuck in some giants and hit some storage raids if you find one juicy and easy enough whilst searching for collector raids.

i hate to say this but u have been getting by on a low th attack for easy loot. But it's been said lvl 7 Giants r mini golems. Your offers now at th11 r going to b th10/ and th11s. Break out the spells out and have fun in a league u can profit at

As mentioned, GiBarch in lower leagues and move up as soon as your GW is level 5 where the league bonus will cover your army cost...

New troops - interesting and yet more unbalancing! I am still waiting for the GW nerf...
