There are two places where this update has really hurt.

    1) The casual player who logs on for war and to empty collectors can no longer exist. Pre-update, that provided enough loot to continue to upgrade the base, as long as the player put his/her town hall outside. Post-update, this player now gets smaller war loot bonuses and can no longer rely on the town hall being sniped to retain loot. This player is now required to raid 3-4 times daily just to maintain the same level of progress from before the update.

    2) The removal of dead bases has resulted in more expensive armies being necessary for raiding. Yes, players can take 300k gold/elixir from another player, but the cost of training armies has resulted in a massive shortage of elixir.

i did this because he did the same sh#t to me.

    So your argument is flawed.

You seem like you dont know ♥♥♥♥ about this game and are just talking out your back side to try and make the point you are trying to make more plausible
Poor defenses on both sides don't make the argument flawed, just the players whose bases got looted.

I always have to giggle a bit when I see clan mates share replays of them getting smashed with a "game blows now, I just get wrecked" after posting replays all day of them running over other bases for big loot. all those people you raided had the same reaction you are having now.

If looting is going to be part of the game, you have to face up to the tradeoff.

The only alternative is to just do away with looting altogether. Just give rewards for smashing stuff.
You're misunderstanding the problem a bit, I think.

People don't mind the fact that their own bases are at risk, but rather the fact that the risk realization (getting looted) is in most cases disproportionate to the reward (looting).

I'm sure that's how it is for some people. But I still think a lot of them are reacting to the fact that they don't like being looted under any circumstances.

This is why there should be a defense win bonus which would be equivalent to the league that the player is in

Completely disagree with this analogy as it applies to this game and the current issue.

I broke my routine of farming every day when the loot was not possible for make a profit when raiding. I'm not one to hide, I ran my war base sometimes just so I wouldn't drop trophies from people sniping me every 15 minutes. As long as loot gained is greater than loot lost, and the loot gained is gained in a cost effective way then I am happy. I can't say how the loot is now since I haven't farmed since a day after the update, I just don't like it when people do not understand what we are actually upset about.
Wow, a whole 10 minutes of searching!?!Poor you. If i could find a base to raid in 10 minutes in Titan I i'd be ecstatic!!

It was a not-so-subtle attempt at calling people babies while trying to stay on the topic.

To the OP, I dont mind getting flattened if I can keep building up resources. The problem is when resource loss > resource gain.
