    Because that's not how ♥♥♥♥♥♥Cell "intended" their game to be played. They just to make to so that the higher your TH, the higher the league you would gravitate towards.

    The exact opposite happen, and it's a dumpster fire.

    I agree it's a little unctuous, but they've chosen the path of least resistance. Can't be blamed too much for that. SC has yet to properly incentive trophies enough.

    But to be consistent you must also claim that any farming strategy that deliberately avoids attacking storages from strong bases is cowardly. Are you prepared to do that?

    SC and some of the people on here have forgotten that this is a game it's supposed to be fun, a way to unwind.
    I liked the old shield system, don't get me wrong and I think that people will simply leave if they can't progress.

    That is the problem Super Cell will have to face pretty damn soon ..

    Until then, aggressive play above a certain activity is the only way to progress, short of buying your way to the top (personally, I don't find any enjoyment in buying a win and the new system has made me a lot more aggressive in the game.)

    If 10 people fail on your base you are surrounded by weak attackers... which means you are in a lower league than is desirable.

    Don't complain about being hit 10x when you hang out with the TH7/TH8.

    The choice is yours: get hit 10x and lose a bit every time, or go higher where you will only get hit 1x but it might be for 100%.

    except there have been many ​max defense guys complaining about the same thing against real attacks.

    It's not exactly a fair trade-off though, at least on lix and to a lesser extent dark, when factor in the costs.

    Because of a lack of places to spend it, I'm offering and regularly getting hit for 500/500/4.

    It's not overly troubling to me, as there is: nowhere to spend it, and I'm very active.

    How on earth is anyone that plays less than me, and/or does have pricey th10-11 upgrades to save for going to do it?
    I know the old save only 1 resource at a time thing, but it's not ideal, just the preferable workaround to an extent.

    People that do have sinks for resources though, then sink as much as poss before defending, so there are less of those monster offers around to find.

    I don't want sniping back, but if someone that doesn't care sees a problem, I'd say there is one.

    Very true. A 1:1 exchange ends up a net elixir loss equal to the troop cost.

    i did this because he did the same sh#t to me.

    You can come to eyes it can take trophie pushes 10 hours in the cloud to find a base then take over 100k elixer to make troops to get maybe 30k elixer not even, then you got people upgrading these people need to spend high elixer to make big troops to get some what of breaking 30k more loot on top of searching for that right base.
