Trophy glitch?? Pic

Clanmate asked me to explain the trophies on this one and I couldn't. Attacker lost 1, but defender didn't get one.

It was most likely a revenge attack.

EDIT - Considering the trophy difference it is definitely a revenge attack.

Great thank you! You know I RARELY get revenged so I had no clue. Lol. On a revenge attack, does the defender never get trophies regardless?

There was a previous post I was corrected on which even helped me on how it works. I guess when the two players are separated by a decent trophy amount there isn't much of an offer on revenge attacks.

That doesn't explain why the defender didn't earn a trophy.

When the difference between trophy counts is large enough, the attacker can lose trophies without the defender gaining any.
