Half right. They revenges you, and the zero cups is because of the difference in cup levels between the two of you, you are much higher in cups than they are. If you had lost the defense, it probably would have been a 3 star 59 cup offer. Since you won, you get nothing. TH lvl doesn't have anything to do with cups offered.

It won't let me, revenge not avail but they aren't on my recent attack list and if I'm playing as intended they should be, could it be they are th 8 and I'm th 10 so I'm not allowed to attack them back? How fair is that, but hey its how it was intended right?

If you are unable to revenge them, it's obvious that this player has revenged you ie you attacked them first. Your attack log is only 10 raids, their Def log is 40,this is why you are still available to be revenged.
Also, 0 trophies is entirely possible on revenge matches, I revenged a trophy dropper from C2 last week, he was in Silver ,& I got 0 trophies.

Happens fairly often...happened to me plenty in the past, it's just the revenge mechanics - happens when one of you has dropped/gained significant trophies

Just because someone isn't on YOUR defense list anymore, doesn't mean you are off THEIR defense list. In other words- Its entirely possible that you are wrong.

And yes... 0 trophies absolutely can happen. If I'm in Masters, and I revenge someone in Silver- a 3 Star win will only get me +1, and a failed revenge attack would mean -59 cups.
