Hypocrisy?

Supercell removed 'zapping' and said lightning was being used the way it was no meant to be. Everybody clapped their hands and liked the change.

Now, Supercell removed 'snipping' and said the game was being played the way it was not meant to be. Everybody loses their minds and did not like the change.

Is this hypocrisy?

did they really say "was being used the way it was no meant to be"
Anyway even if they didn't this update was inspired by that update in a couple of ways.

It should have been left in reguardless, I never used it but it was a way to circulate loot

They removed zapping, which was a big problem, that was good. But when they moved sniping, that created a bunch of issues. So no, its not really "hypocrisy"

Town halls were put out by the player to be sniped.
The storages were not put out to zapped. I think your completely wrong on this idea.

Here's another one: They removed resource zapping but allow 'milking' which is basically the same. Does that make any sense? I don't think so.

Zapping was removed because there was no counterplay to it, if someone has a lightning spell and you have Dark Elixer or any other resource there is absolutely no way you could stop that person from taking your resources.

They removed 2 things but added 1. So think of it like this: You give 2 pieces of your Kit-Kat bar to your friend, but you get a Nerds Rope in return.

Loot circulation is a net negative activity. Not to mention the strategy evaporated elixir in a very inefficient way. If you oppose it on those grounds fine, but the economy seemed to be fine while zapping was allowed.

Agreed it's not a great analogy, still I think zapping should be allowed.

Zapping was the price for higher THs to be in the lower leagues. They profited gold/elixir in exchange for dark. That seems very reasonable to me.
