you may have unintentionally made a good point here , but you dont know it
its bcos since the update, and partially because of it, loot has been pretty bad and people come to the forums to complain or show off their great loot. the forums these days are so boring and depressing...

It cleans up the forum, to make it look more pro-update, and makes it harder to follow the thread so it stifles debate.

Because they are all the same. 20 threads, all having the exact same discussions, taking over the whole first page.
For some reason, everyone wants to have their own thread, when other threads on tat topic already exist.
It makes for a completely unreadable forum.
