Are you a TH7 moving to TH8? If you had no trouble getting BK5, Hogs 2, Minions 2 at TH7, you won't have any problem at TH8.
And it should be easier to get DE with the 2nd drill and upgraded TH8 troops to farm with.
Now holding on to it when TH9s come to stomp you is a different story.
First time i was TH8 i was struggling to get and keep DE. After 30K i was raided hard everytime, even with the TH outside.
Now the second time around i am having the easiest time in my life with the DE. I have it at 80,000 constantly wich is max. Seemed all you have to do is climb in the leagues. Farming in Masters and Champions is great for that. Dont matter if i lose 2-3K DE each defense, i get it back in 1 or 2 raids easy.
If you max your drills and farming troops it's real easy, and WAY easier than th7. At th7 you'd be excited to raid 1k de from a base, but th8 you can pretty much get 2.5k on a regular basis. I even pushed to masters and I'm using giants with wizards a couple valks and earthquake spells, and I can take that much from a th9 AND there's a 500 DE loot bonus!Originally Posted by ClashingDownUnder
