Maybe the title is slightly misleading... Of course I don't want people to take my loot.
But when someone uses a full army in an all out attack, I can't help but hope they don't fail in the process.
Failed attacks using full armies (go wipes, Goho etc) are much more commonplace after the update, and when someone fails one of these attacks (trust me, it happens a LOT on my base) I can't but feel those resources have been totally wasted and out of the game forever. Not that this hasn't been the case all along, but with the nerf of league bonus, it's even more of an issue now in my head for some reason.
The attacker has lost a tonne of de and elixir and made 0 profit whilst I've lost some loot too- I didn't lose much, but that loot literally disappears out of the game and compensates nothing. And this total accumulates over time, so we are talking big numbers.
Failure on a large scale will pull so much of each resource out of the game it will definitely have an impact on overall loot levels- 1 gem boosts won't be around forever unfortunately to inflate the economy. But yeah, I actually don't want people to fail with big armies, but I want them to have to work for the loot.
This attitude is changed from pre update- before I wanted people to smash my base with a big army and fail so I could post a replay in clan chat and get ratings. Now it's almost sad watching people fail- it's a loss for both parties involved.
Just some food for thought.
