I don't like that you have to get 70% to get full loot bonus. Since SC don't seem to be budging on reducing the required minimum destruction than we should at least get full loot if we get 2 stars.
It's perfectly possible to 99% a base and only get 1 star. Razoring a base to the ground and not getting the full loot bonus because I just missed out on getting the TH would really annoy me.
70% is perfectly do-able imo.
All that being said, I do think that there should be some sort of bonus multiplier tied to TH level and league. The multiplier should also be allowed to go negative for TH8 and above if those townhalls drop too low.
That would encourage trophy pushing and actively discourage high halls in low trophy ranges.
Before update, when there were lots of TH's outside, you could drop and archer, take the TH and get full loot bonus.
They took away farming so they didnt have to give away full loot bonus's on TH snipes and thats fair enough.
They put loot in the TH so we would all put our THs inside, and we did.
So now we all have our TH's inside.
IMO, they should give us full bonus now for a star.
Agreed, win an attack and get the bonus, seems fair to me.
If they have to tie bonus to percentage, it should be in war instead of outside (not that I want this), this will effectively kill war looters. But as usual they have no clue about basic game design, they want people to play their game right but have no clue why people play their game wrong, hence all these changes that deal with the symptoms but not the root cause.
I think league bonus need to be tripled for it to make sense. That would be the simplest change to get people to play the game "as intended". They will also no longer need to worry about not enough players on top.
But they won't do that, they want people to play for trophy yet they insist on making trophy the most worthless commodity in the game.
