    It becomes meaningless. One would be able to bake a dozen archers, or ready heroes, and fill storages with no risk in an hour.

    The entire resource management side of the game becomes moot. It would ruin the game.

    Also, bear in mind that resources have monetary value.. Giving resources away would directly affect SCs bottom line.

    It only takes years if you're a casual player or don't spend any money on gems. Neither of which do I believe should have access to the top level goodies. Sniping allowed players to get there without spending a dime, and understandably SC took care of it.

    What's everyone's worry or rush to a maxed th11 base anyway? That's when the game would really get dull.

    You're not really getting it....

    I understand that to you and many millions of others (including myself) the game is about progression through the collection of resources which are gathered mainly from stealing from other players. And that this progression is measured by the advancement of your base and troops.

    However....

    To SC the game is mainly about progression through the collection of trophies which are gathered from successfully attacking other players and beating stronger and stronger opponents over time.

    Therefore SC want you to attack more. The best way to achieve this is by removing the areas of economic imbalance that restrict a players ability to attack and progress (I.e they keep losing resources).

    Unfortunately, SC have a flawed agenda. They want a fluid economic model, but don't like the fact that they have to then live with players not following their principles. They sat on the fence for years before finally having the balls to make a serious change towards their 'intended' playing style. The problem is that they have done a half-♥♥♥♥♥ update which has made the game much worse to play. If they truly believe that trophies are king then they should go the whole hog and make some serious fundamental steps in that direction rather than the shambles we have at the moment.

    See? This whole outrage mainly started because there is a big part of the player community that thinks that this game is about everything but battling and trophies. Battles are only necessary to acquire loot. Which is what the game is about.

    I belong to this group, but if getting loot would get that trivial as suggested, why would I even play?

    To counter one possible reply in advance: why don't I play Hay Day if I don't like to compete for trophies? Because in Hay Day the crop just grows and I cannot influence the speed by trying to be the clever bear. In Clash I at least have the feeling that my ROI is tied to my effort.

    It's just that after update way too much effort is needed to progress.

    You are the one "not getting it". You're projecting a one dimensional view of the game, I guess because that fits your agenda. In reality the game is multi-faceted, and the OP's suggestion would reduce it to a shadow of its former self, for all but the trophy pushing minority.

    You seem to want to argue with me for some strange reason.
    If you read my post again you will see that my perception of the game is just the same as yours. I am not a trophy pusher. I have zero need for trophies. I play the game the same way as many others do in a variety of approaches depending on how i want to at any particular time.

    But SC's perception is not the same. They want us all to attack for trophies.

    You prove my point exactly, and I think we have agreed on this previously.

    You, me and most other players believe that battles are only necessary to acquire loot. We don't care about trophies.

    SC believe we are playing the game incorrectly.
