Before this update, it was so much fun watching the defensive replies. I guess people were not afraid of loosing an attack, thus I saw very creative and fun attacks, from barch trying to reach my storages, gibarch, gihogs, healers, dragons, and so many different combinations of the cheaper troops. Seeing someone GoHo, or GoWiPe meant either practicing war attacks, or pushing. Now... 90% GoWiPe with 4 EQs and the other 10% mostly go/gi/hogs. I don't even watch replies anymore. Hell, it is even killing the desire to war anymore

Yup, said similar in other threads. The update has made 90% of the attacks virtually identical to war attacks. It has had the combined effect of making the multi-player part of the game as well as the clan wars so similar that I am losing interest in both. Brilliant move SC.

Supercell ruined COC Intentionally? (Conspiracy Theory)
Im not saying this is 100% true but this thought suddenly came to my mind and after coming to think of it, it all kinda add up.


Please guys this is just my theory. Its not based on any real facts thats why its a conspiracy




First off, do you know that Supercell sold 73% (or maybe more) of their share to a Japanese gaming company known as Softbank.

73% is a huge amount of share. If Softbank has 73% stake in the company, does this mean that the original Clash Of Clan Developer or Supercell themselve dosent own Clash Of Clan anymore?


Here are some theories


- Supercell original DEV for COC are forced to implement these seriously ridiculous update with the direct order from their new bosses in a selfish attempt to increase their revenue? I mean seriously. Dont you guys realise? This new update is obviously trying to make players spend money on gem. Look at what they did to farming, league bonus and even trophy pushing.


- Another theory is that the original DEV team intentionally made this update specifically to make players quit the game so that they can play the new game "Clash Royale" that they recently released. Maybe this is another attempt to pull back their millions of customers? Lets say if Supercell was in a financial crysis with maintaining COC and have already foreseen that COC will just be another random game that no one plays anyomore, they made a smart move to sell their share to Softbank just to make a huge amount of profit and invest in another game that could actually be the future top grossing.


Look at whats going on, thousands of complaints about the new update and instead of fixing what is wrong they went on to release a new game. Releasing a new game during the darkest point of COC history could have two hidden meanings


1- a spit on all the player's face
2 - Indirectly telling players to move to the new game, because COC is not owned by them anymore.
3 - Just plain stupidity


It could also be that Softbank have no choice but to rely on the original developers because they are the one who coded the game and knows the inner machenics and programming of the game. Maybe they offered those dev a huge pay cheque or keeping the original developers is part of the contract. So this could be either the original makers of COC are FORCED into doing what Softbank tells them to because they are their (developers) pay masters or they just got bribed with an offer they couldnt resist.


I know many of you will say "Supercell made millions weekly" but do you know how much money they need to pay just to maintain their servers, building rents, staff salary etc etc. It could be that they are not making much money from COC.




Supercell went against the vast majority of player's liking. WE are the one who pays their salary. We prefer the OLD clash of clan. Village guard, Attacking while shielded, no cheap shield, loot bonus fix are all unnecessary and has ruined the game.


I heard Clash Royale is a super addicting game. Ive seen many top clans like Quantum's Web that says "Clan Closed, moved to new Supercell game".


It looks like COC is trying their very best to get back their old players to support them in another game, intentionally spoiling this game so that players will quit this game and SOFTBANK will just go down the drain.


Again, its just my theory. It could not be true. But we are open for debate

I just take a look how much loot I've lost this time (800K last night), rearm the traps, donate some troops and close the game again.
