It was a stupid move to remove town hall sniping...it was 50% of the game and pushing and farming worked in harmony together because of it...they ruined it on both fronts and killed the loot.
These guys ruined everything that the majority of they're client base liked in a 24 hour period....lol
They need to rethink how "the game is meant to be played"
If you mean sniping for a loot bonus you ar correct because there where no leagues or bonus. But we have been putting th outside for a shield very soon after the game was started, certianly no where close to a year.Originally Posted by bobofclashofclans
A player's badge never bothered me - I would congratulate a TH7 TH sniper in master's when I was a TH8 in crystal, but inevitably that TH7 would get all defensive and think I was being sarcastic.
Maybe SC had a problem with cup pushers who TH sniped their way up. By "fixing" that problem, other issues were introduced. So now we have unhappy TH snipers (who only knew how to snipe TH) and unhappy non-TH snipers (who couldn't give a toss about badges) and generally unhappy players all round. Great job, SC!
Yes and they should be able to... up or down.
You never know. If they can screw over the TH free shield system, i don't see why dropping cups can be messed with also.
Perhaps smth like unless u use 30%-50% of your army and fail miserably in the attack, you are not allowed to drop cups. THAT might turn out to be a form of protecting resources for the lower THs in the lower leagues to balance out raiding across all leagues.
Yep... i seen that th2 in champs thing floating around and thought to myself.... now that is acheivement ! I would have went crazy after 10 minutes of sniping.
When i see people complain about snipers or droppers I picture their sheild as a shiny belt buckle they want to flash at everyone, they pelvic thrust it from side to side and say hey look at me ! Lol
SC has never understood the economy of the game and has failed to give a compelling reason to trophy push. As long as the system of matching players based on trophy count exists, there will always be players manipulating the system.
If SC wants to fix it then make a simple system where I have an equal chance to get matched against players +/- 1 TH of my own level regardless of cups. Do this and EVERYONE will always push, there would be no reason not to. No more hiding, no more fishing... just pushing as high as you can. Until then cups mean nothing.

Now imagine, they also remove cup dropping... no different than removing sniping.
The only way to truely balance the game is to put Town hall vs same town hall only....and that would be no fun at all

Would not be fun, because sometimes, the occasional try at a higher TH is what makes the game more fun.
I know, the first time I took 300K elixir from a TH8 when I was only a TH6, was one of the most fun raids I did.
After all, a little TH6 beating a TH8 out of their loot?
And a 2 star victory at that, too.
No, TH was not outside, but just inside the walls, so I was able to get it near beginning.
Those were my days of Wizards and healers...LOL
