SNIPING VS DROPPING CUPS.....whats the difference ?

Title says it all.... other than one goes up and gets you loot and one goes down to get to loot. What is the difference ? And please don't say town hall sniping was not the way the game was intended to be played...that would just be too funny.

There are a lot of hipocrates on these forms preaching that town hall sniping had to go...yet are max th8's to 10's sitting in silver....

Even supercell are telling us to try different leagues to find loot !

So manipulating cups is only bad..... sometimes ????

For the record, i have no problem with snipers or cup droppers....I do have a problem with people telling others how to play.

The reason th sniping is bad is because it creates too much loot. SC is trying to control the loot in the system, so they can get more gem purchases from it. If they keep loot where it is, it creates disatisfaction. If they create too much loot, gem purchases go down. They want the loot tap to be at a slightly less than satisfying level. It drives more revenue their way

Most at people complaining about cup droppers are likely also cup dropping. Seems many hiding in silver don't like the influx of new droppers. The difference between sniping and dropping?

1. Dropping does not allow hiding behind shields
2. Dropping does not give you loot
3. Dropping eventually requires you to stop, build an army, and do an actual raid.


I see see lots of differences.



Who care care about manipulating cups? I manipulate cups by going up so I get a 225/225/1400 bonus envy time I win. Other manipulate cups by going down to get big payoffs. It's all the same bro. But neither has anything even remotely similar to th sniping.

I think the difference is... one brings in $ to SC and the other doesn't... that's what they "intended", to make $.

I guess I am going against the SC Intention, then. Dang, and I thought I was doing it right.

I see few people complain about Cup Droppers playing how they want...outside of the fellow cup droppers that get cups dropped upon them. I say let em go at it as a perfectly legitimate method of farming.

Here is the silly part...a cup dropper has to spend 10 whole minutes giving them back...complaints about getting cups are the weirdest thing. He is actually complaining about the time needed to dump cups because he dumps cups.
