need some pointers hitting a th11

first time I have had to hit a th11 in war, so I am just not sure what I need to be thinking about. lvl1 eagle, lvl3 warden. see image below.

should I be attacking at the warden to remove the HP buff ASAP? at the eagle to take that out? would it be worth dropping a couple zaps to take out the warden?

I am th10 with max troops and max spells except dark, queen lvl25, king lvl27. need two stars here if possible.

any tips would be greatly appreciated.

From what I've seen (about 4 TH11 war attacks in my clan), you should approach it almost the same way as a TH10. Since the eagle or warden are not obviously exposed, I would approach this exactly as if they weren't there at all. Pretend its a max TH10 and do your usual going for about a 60%+ 2 star will turn into a slightly lower percentage two star (if all goes to plan)

The TH11 in my clan I am referring to hit 4 different TH11's with eagles and wardens. He usually hits max TH10's for about 70%+ with GoWipe. He hit all 4 TH11's the same as he would a TH10 and got 2 star on all of them, albeit at a lower percentage (55-65%). Overall, the eagle shouldn't affect you a ton, will just turn your lvl5 golems into lvl4 golems and warden will prevent you from taking down a building or two... no big deal usually
edit: his heroes were max, I see yours are a tad low, so I'm not sure how much this will affect you.

haha, that guy just attacked me. he came with max drags, but he left his warden on the ground....oops! he ate two big bombs and got riddled with cannon and xbow fire, lasted about 5 seconds.

40%, 0 stars.......at least there is no pressure on me now.

hey, let me know how it went for you please. I'm in the same situation. Our war is really unbalanced and I'm a mid-range TH10 with AQ at 20 and AK at 23 and I'm facing about the same TH11 as you. My first TH11 so not sure how to do it. Different base layout but I'm still interested in knowing how you did and with what troops.

came with 4 golem, 2 pekka gowipe from northwest side. 3 jump, rage, freeze. eeked out the 51% 1-star. oh well, nice loot bonus anyway.

Yaaayyy!!! I two starred it with 52%. I gowiped it with 4 max golems, 3 max pekkas. I attacked it on the side where the TH was the closest hoping for a one star reaching out the TH so I brought 3 quakes (+1 in castle) 2 rages and 2 freezes. I froze both infernos when my pekkas and golems go to the TH...I got the TH and then I got lucky because a bunch of wizzs got on the outside behind my heroes...they went all around destroying everything which got me the 52%

my max th10 and th11 clan mates have used mass golems, and lavadragoon on th11s with easy 2 stars. Gowipe works well too. On that base in particular, Id use a four golem gowipe (one golem in your cc) or lavadragoon.
