    ♥♥♥♥ energy

We do have enough pigs, cows, goat, chicken and sheep. We also got horses, cats and dogs and rabbits...

They all produce ♥♥♥♥. From ♥♥♥♥ you can make energy. It's done in The Netherlands. A nice way to produce gas and eventually electricity.

Together with wind and solar energy (why can't be build panels on diary, barn and farmhouse?) we can produce awful lots of energy.

Other words for ♥♥♥♥ are dung, manure....

OOOOPS whrong thread. Can a moderater place this under ideas?

What could we do with this energy? What are your ideas for it in the game?

I admit I don't love the farting or scooting puppies, so another aspect of the game focused on that region doesn't thrill me. I'm also not sure the graphic wouldn't be gross. But let's say for discussion-of-idea's-sake that the poo appears magically, without needing to see anything's poo face or poo arrival.

We now have poo as a new product. What next?

It's fermented getting gas from it.

The gas is used to heat the greenhouses and the farmhouse and the town. Just natural energy.
Getting the climate better And it is used to generate power for electricity for the machines.

And naturally, but that's been ruled out, it can be used to shorten the production time of crops. I'd like to produce tomatoes in 3 hrs

I don't know how complicated it can get, but the soupkitchen (fi) may use 4 energy equivalents per hour/day. Etc.
If you manage to produce more energy than needed, you get xp. Less energy could cost you xp.

I like the idea to speed up crops with energy units and not diamonds I can see why SC would rule it out LOL

I'm not sure about not being able to run machines without energy units. Maybe energy units could cut production time by some percentage, so that players who don't have all the animals to make all the poo would not be disadvantaged by also not being able to run machines. I like the idea better of using energy units as a player convenience to make in-game actions faster or enhanced in another way.

The graphics of energy production and transfer could be cool -- lots of stars and lightning bolts, nice glows etc. But I have yet to puzzle out how the appearance of the base material could be made -- palatable is the wrong word -- but not disgusting. That's the biggest issue with the poo as I see it. I think we can all deal with it once it's here, but it's appearance turns the stomach a little LOL

Perhaps the animal "waste" could be magically transported to a machine without us having to see it, and comes out as pellets, much like those little compressed wood pellets used for wood burning stoves?

You can't see the milk coming out of the cows. You just see the churns.

My idea in this is, that it's either an automatic process or it's coming in buckets with a cover on it where we can put it in the fermentation system.

There is already another farm game that utilizes fertilizer gathered from animals. I would hate to see this game following in that game's footsteps. Poo wasn't the reason I left that game, but I like that in this game my crops are not dependent on limited supplies of fertilizer or water.

LOL, Vfrood. I just had to open the thread when I saw its title and was curious to read about love energy and how it pertains to HD or maybe you're the love specialist?

OMG too funny!! Literally lol'ed here.

Now I'm of two minds. On the one hand I agree with FarmerIzumi as I don't want to have to manage my crops that carefully. But on the other hand, I totally want to see the pigs' poo faces.
