So another half an hour has gone by. I have nexted and nexted and not a single appropriate base has come up for attack. Since update I have moved up and down the leagues and loot is getting worse and worse.
I thought removal of th sniping would open up more bases for attack? The problem is it has opened up a load of bases which were never worth attacking in the first place which wastes a stupid amount of time.
There's another half hour of my life I will never get back. Screw you Supercell!
When I see my last defenses I'm scratching my head. I have nothing but DE and people are attacking with gowipe, gowiwi and EQ spells, full spells and heroes.
I'm a maxed TH9 so it's not easy, of course they go away with 2* and 40 - 60% but they loose their heroes in the attack as they are forced into gaining the highest % possible.
All this for 50k gold, and maybe some DE (not always the case). Of course there' s the league bonus, but as they don't attain 70% it's a league malus.
Of course, there's the possibility they're pushing, but then it was 5 trophies attacks for 2*... Not that much...
My guess is players are running so low in gold while endlessly searching they go for the first TH they find.

I "nexted" into Bankruptcy. I started with a little over 400k and I had one of those mighty, robust, war armies I am supposed to be using. Unfortunately, none of the offers had enough Elixir to cover my cost, even with the win bonus factored in ... I was either going to next into oblivion or go under on Elixir.
Yep! Totally puzzled by some of my defenses too. I tend to dump everything into walls before I log off, yet I get smashed up by full GoWiWi armies for 30k... I can only assume people are attacking our of frustration.

I'll regularly dump 30-50k of gold (as a TH9) searching for bases, I think that's pretty normal and about the same amount of 'nexting' I did before the update (if maybe slightly increased). More than 10 minutes is a REALLY long time, I rarely if ever go past that.
And if you're nexting away 400k gold, then your expectations are WAY too high.
believe or not, but some people just like smashing other people's bases, farming "efficiency," "ROI," and "profit margin" be damned...
some stupid players who still farm are losing a lot of DE from me. I always get around 1-1.5k DE per snipe.
