You are right. I take it back. This thread is onto something.
A group of game developers intentionally hurt their own product just because the lead developer of the other game in their company keeps stealing the good doughnuts for THEIR meetings and leaving the clash of clans team with the berry filled doughnuts instead of the ones with sprinkles.

It is all about money not donuts. The clash royale team would get a better income than clash of clans if they would be no 1.

The idea of mixing hearthstone and moba is not bad! It can give a no 1 strategy game. I have not played clash royale.

If the Clash of Clans team is "warring" against the Clash Royale team, somebody needs to be fired.

They should be promoting teamwork and all that good stuff while working on projects...blah blah blah.
