Clash royals is also a mix of real time strategy with cards that could become the no 1 strategy for 2016.
If all was good most players from clash of clans would give good ratings to Clash Royale - all translated into a perfect start for the no 1 contender to the clash of clans no 1 game.

For most of us, the update was making no sense. When nobody would have loot most people will hate the game and they will not buy any gems anymore so the income of the game would go down. There was another theory that this update will force people pay money for the game, but I do not know not even one single person who did that.

Now here things got complicated... Why should you release an update that would kill the game??? This was really making no sense until 1 day ago when another theory emerged. So the question to answer is:

Did supercel clash of clans team released this update to make people hate the new game clash royale? Was everything premeditated? Than how come the new game is coming after the worst update in history of clash of clans?

Before you answer to that just take in mind that those game had 2 different teams that are in competition with each other. And some devs where in the initial team of clash of clans. So there is a premise for people to hate each other and break.

They had a game in development for 3 years and just before the release the other competitive team that has a game with related characters ruin the best mobile game for a limited time? And again no feedback from them in such a long time only confirms this theory. They wanted to make people angry for a while because they knew they would make them come back in 30-90 days from now with a fix update and more cool things?

I know for some of you this sound unexpected, but think first and then comment. Do not let your mind to be filled with anger for the update, try to be honest. I fear the truth is something we will never know. This would become one of the greatest mysteries of the clash games.

Something doesn't add up. People indeed are hating the update, if that is what you speak of, why gamble years of hardwork against CR?

They went for the update because they thought it would carry on easily. (long time app dominance + clashcon)

The new game is probably to expand or to try realtime multiplayer.

You are right. I take it back. This thread is onto something.
A group of game developers intentionally hurt their own product just because the lead developer of the other game in their company keeps stealing the good doughnuts for THEIR meetings and leaving the clash of clans team with the berry filled doughnuts instead of the ones with sprinkles.
