An open letter from a maxed out th 10

• My village is TH 11. I upgraded from a maxed-out th 10. Queen 40, king 36. Since upgrade, my concern is only one thing: ELIXIR.
  

• I am not going to say that it is impossible to find a dead base, but you have to look for them really really well. Without exaggeration, sometimes I spent half an hour to find a dead base in Silver 3. Forget Gold and upper cups. I am not a gemmer, I have spent 2 years for this game, day and night. My walls are lvl 10+. That alone says I am a hardcore farmer.

• Moreover, I get attacked by GoWiWi or GoWiPe and lose 200k elixir. If I want to revenge or attack by the same strategies I have to spend elixir. To put it simple for SC, I managed to collect 6 million elixir after hardcore farming and boosting collectors in 9 DAYS. It is frustrating, do something, and I am not going to say please. You made this mistake and it is your responsibilty to fix it.

Maybe your issue is that you have nothing to do as a TH11 in Silver3 or Gold but also that you should start learning how to raid active bases instead of searching for dead bases.

I'm doing well in champ3, my GW is upgrading to lvl 9 already. I indeed find it more difficult to get elixir than it used to be, but I still manage by raiding active bases with a strong army ! There are lots of bases with 400k elixir available + 200k bonus in champs, which is more than enough to cover the cost of my army !

Maybe your issue is that you have nothing to do as a TH11 in Silver3 or Gold but also that you should start learning how to raid active bases instead of searching for dead bases.

First of all, please do not be judgemental by mentioning "You should start learning how to raid active bases". My 900 war stars alone says that I have crushed many poor th 10 bases. Secondly, for two days, I am using gowipe because my dark elixir is 200k and have no builder to upgrade king which is already in upgarde. The result is this: in all spent elixir and gained elixir is equal. Not much progress. And as you probably know it takes time to build strong armies. Count in time for spells. And it gets to around 1 and half hour. With this it will take a significant time to collect elixir for walls and just considering that lvl 20 GW needs 10 M elixir , it will be even worse. And not to forget that we are in honey moon now. Thing will get even worse when they remove 1 gem boost.

Perhaps try mass minions if u have no need for de, they work suprisingly well

First of all: you aren't a maxed TH10 if you only did your BK to 36. In which case you were probably too lazy to farm your walls to magmas too.

Second: as much as I hate to admit it: that other dude is right. Move up in leagues (preferably champs) and do gowi raids with EQ on 400/400 bases. You will easily make a profit on lix with the bonus. Stay at 3100, loot is best there. It drops dramatically once you go higher.

Stop looking for dead bases, you won't find them (or very rarely).

Same opinion here, my GW is level 8 but it's one huge grind. Mass goblins in silver is the only way I can make decent loot. But it's boring as sin and inherently unfair on the low level th I roll over.

I've moved up to masters and the loot lost with sub 30% attacks and no Shields is very very hard to replace raiding. I make marginal gains. To be fair DE is superb never been better, gold is so so, elixir is available but by the time I have defended three times and cooked my army I need 400k just to break even

As with many people yes I can attack three times through my shield but not while I'm asleep and not while I have a full day at work. If I'm lucky I'll manage two attacks, unlucky maybe one.

I shouldn't have to plan life around clash. Easier shielding meant I could plan clash around life. Free Shields I'm fine with removing the current set up penalises a good defense it needs adjusting

With the exodus of players in silver and masters, it makes crystal barren. With less farmers here, I hhave little competition when finding dead bases. Heck, 90% of my raids are against inactive collector bases

Agree with all of this except that I have gone from silver league to Titan 3 since the update and I haven't noticed any difference in the available loot between Champ3 and Titan 3 but you get slightly better bonus up higher. Just don't go any higher than 4100 or the clouds will slow your farming too much.

Well, the way how you figured out that I am not a maxed th 10 is enough not to show that I should not have a further discussion with you. All buildings were maxed out. And I had 30 magma walls. But you know when update was released I decided to upgarde to TH 11. It won't make me lazy. It means that upgrading your walls is a matter of TIME.
and the other dude is not right. If he was right, we should n't have seen so many maxed out TH 10.5 in silver league. Unless, your highness claim to be the most bad ♥♥♥ clasher in history. I hate to say that but if you wanna support the mistake done by SC, please do it on a logical basis. It is rediculous to support SC now, when youtubers don't even do it currently.
