Felt the same last year when I maxed my TH9. (except the usual stuff). Played less and less. Just turned TH10 a month before the update thinking it would be a challenge and start attacking again as always. Never worked out.

Something else is missing in the game. Something needs to be added. They added wars, which was fine but it's always the same, train, attack, train, attack. Too repetitive. Quests? I don't know. Personally, I think that will get boring pretty quickly. How about perks for logging in everyday? 30 days login consecutively will award you gems? Resources? Free instant upgrade with or without loot? I don't know. Maybe I'm just dreaming.

Raid and upgrade will take it's toll eventually and leave players bored especially at TH9 and above.

Yes dreams I fear. We saw the game way bigger than what it is planned for it I think

The cynic in me thinks supercell have spoken to pat and galadon, told them to get the people back on their sides by 'criticising' the new update, whilst they work on a fix for it.

i forgot if it was chief pat or galadon because they deleted some of their tweets but someone even said that this big announcement was kind of supercell's apology for the bad update. chief pat even had a hidden message on his tweet "townhall tweleve" which led everyone to believe that supercell is listening and are going to fix the mess with an update soon.

Daddy was & still my favrotie youtuber, mod & clasher. The empty space he left on this forum will not be filled. I learned farming with BAM when I was still a noob th7. From that point I have great respect to him & that respect did build up more during those last weeks. He is the most honest youtuber

I even miss Daddy's videos. He still uploads some but they seem fewer and further between? I remember watching his videos when I was around TH7 too lol. To me, there really is only Daddy to listen too, can't go through 100+ videos with Pat's voice ( no offense intended ).

This is my main concern. I dont play anywhere near as much as I did and neither am I as active on chat. I literally drop into my TH8 to empty collectors and once 1 gem boost goes how long will that last. I do play my TH10 but have no desire at present to even consider TH11.
I'm not even sure it is entirely the update but also the overwhelming feeling of despair around the game and the total disconnect from SC. It has gone from a real, community feel to a divisive, negative world. Chuck in the foolish kids and name calling and overall a tough period that we are wading through.

I've been playing the same amount, but to me it feels more like work now, than the entertaining cash robbing fun it used to be. I couldn't imagine if my queenie was 30, I would have zero desire to both farm her, and go to TH11. Guess I got lucky on that one.

Don't know why but I wasn't boosting anything for days. Should I take a break from forums for a month & come back later? I'm sad to see people sad more than what I'm having with game. Seeing forumers like daz stop playing really made me take that option into consideration but what is stopping me is my clan. I really love the clan more than the game. Should this be a sad or happy moment?

I can't say much about the YouTubers. I don't watch them near enough to have an opinion on them directly. What I will say from watching that video is he does get it. He's not closed off to the fact we're not exactly doing OK right now. We need some action, or else, what next?

They could have handled this situation better, that much is plain to see. But can you give them a break? SC had this game ready for months prior to the update, so whatever the outcome they were going to release it. It's a totally seperate game ( to a degree ), with their own team etc. The YouTubers were ready to start making their videos for the new game, before the update. They were going to release it whatever happened.

Their relationship is smack bang in the middle of both us and SC. Without SC, they wouldn't get inside extras for their videos. Without us, they wouldn't, well, be YouTubers. But without them, we lose both the content they give, which can sometimes be both very useful, and very informative, and we lose any chance of them voicing our concerns to SC themselves. So, lets not burn all our bridges, yeah? Cut them some slack and we'll all keep chugging through this mess, together.

the cynic in me tells me galadon and chief pat took one look at the forums and realized how bad they screwed up with that bait and switch and made a desperate attempt to save their own skin.

before you complain I know they owe nothing to us and are just trying to make a living, but their income is based on people watching their videos. they ♥♥♥♥ their viewers off, they lose income. it is in their best interest to not screw with us because it effects their ability to earn money.

Whenever Chief Pat put out that video concerning everyone's opinion on the update I really felt bad for him. I thought that he was just getting hit by all the flak from the clash community that supercell rightfully deserved, but holy ♥♥♥♥ I don't think there has been a time I was more let down by someone I don't even know. He really caved in. He has to be in a rough spot because he's probably deciding between supporting the community and getting that sweet YouTube $$$. It's funny how much and how quickly things have changed. Just before the update dropped we finished the forum event and it was great fun. Daddy was in the process of trying to set up another event and loads of people were chomping at the bit to get involved. The game was still alive and kicking, going from strength to strength. Then came U day!
What is ironic is how desperate people were for a 'Game-changer' - well..they got it. Be careful what you wish for. Saleh may be right. Perhaps a rest would do us all good.
