They didn't have to bash the update to not lose credibility, but they definitely lost credibility when they blindly supported them.

I would support totally a view that their credibility took a knock but then you do surely have to give credit where it is due. Also they are in a position where they must give the changes a good view post update before passing judgement as like it or not they are in between both camps not in one or the other.
Maybe they got the balance a little wrong at first but I can't hold a grudge. After all how else will I get invited to the Summer SC BBQ?

I don't care, if they like or hate the update, but the fact that they don't stick to their opinion is honestly annoying and cowardly. I'm sorry and feel free to drop me in the 'Moron' camp but stuff like this just legitimises Supercell's failure to engage with the fan-base. By posting childish abuse you simply give them excuses for failing to respond. If your anger is voiced in a calm and measured way then you leave them no wriggle room for failing to answer you.
If you post this they can rightly point at these comments and say - 'You want us to respond to this?'

I never ever followed any utubers except one hive. I recommend you and everybody else to only follow one hive because they are not related to supercell company by any means and their videos are informative.

That's fair. Pre-internet, journalist were credible as they didn't have all their eggs in one basket, and they didn't have to be nice to one entity to keep their jobs. When you look at youtubers for COC, most of them have views only because they have a relationship with SC, thus they have all their eggs in one basket and thus they are very much compromised. I realise they do have to walk a tight rope, but at the same time I am going to call it for what it is.

Well said, mirrors my post. When you don't have to play nice to maintain relationships, you have less interest to protect and are more freely to speak (outside of their own personal interest of course).

the problem with this is thousands of people have tried this. I understand if supercell ignored people who posted "childish abuse" but there have been countless people who have put forth rational discussions, possible solutions, and respectful questions who are also being ignored. what about those people? why do they ignore them?
