Mods & Anoushka get my full respect as Mods are just volunteers and don't decide in game. Anoushka is a community manager & also doesn't have decision in game. She gives the feedback but the later process is out of her hand. The information discussed from player's experience is amazing but official info coming to forum from SC is just less than normal. I will be hopeful just like you then

Jeez. Cut these guys a little slack. I know the atmosphere is poisonous but they get castigated if they don't rag on the update and then they get slated by some even if they support the fan-base view. Daddy has already posted his feelings and now Chief Pat. You can't expect them to go over the top and get as vitriolic as some here as this is their job.

I won't be downloading the new game until I see signs of player interaction from SC as if someone punched me in the face I wouldn't go back for seconds but if they manage to fix the relationship you have to be big enough to move on.

To me it doesn't matter what his intentions are. The fact that he and the other guy are openly making these anti-update statements is a good sign. They aren't just making a couple comments here and there that imply they had issues with the update like they were earlier - they are flat out saying the update has been a disaster and then explaining in great detail why (ironically repeating the same things that have been said here on the forums since the first sneak peek).

It is no coincidence. I don't think they would do this without getting the ok first (I know they don't work for SC, but as others have pointed out, it's a symbiotic relationship - not necessarily selling out, more like professional courtesy, perhaps). It gives me more hope than any thing else post-update.

I would agree with you, if their opinion didn't seem to change every five seconds. They are adults after all. I don't care, if they like or hate the update, but the fact that they don't stick to their opinion is honestly annoying and cowardly. Daddy is the only person I really saw who knows how to just be an adult and handle his opinion.

They didn't have to bash the update to not lose credibility, but they definitely lost credibility when they blindly supported them.
