It's busy season at my job. I'm working 2 weeks back to back 80 hours. I'll barely have time for this game. If you were in my situation, would you buy a week shield or just have an army prebuilt and try to get quality attacks in while I can?

If you don't log on at all then you won't be attacked more than once after the new update if that's what you're worried about.

I would seriously advise against getting a shield. Just do what you can.
I'd do nothing, after 2 days (if that) nobody will see your base in a search. Only active ones appear anymore.
From what I've and many others have seen, after about 2 days your base is so far down in the queue that it's no longer attacked. So if you don't have time to even log in and collect, just walk away for a few days.
Don't waste gem on shield now.
Just use all your gold and elixir when you leave and after two day, you will not even get attack.
After 2 days of inactivity your pulled out of the que an will no longer get raided. If you take a 2 week break your collectors will be completely full when you sign back on. Supercell's rules only hurt you for being active. If your inactive you have nothing to worry about. If you cant help but to log 9n to that period just suck up the hits. 1 week shield isnt worth the gems imo.Originally Posted by Josh4908
