    War cc troops

I'm very sorry if this thread had already been posted here. Search function not helping much.

Just want to ask what is your usual War cc troops for defence? We usually use Lava/Wiz/Archer for 35cap, Lava for 30, Drag/Wiz/Archer for 25cap and Drag for 20. Are there any better troops to use especially for TH10/TH9?

    Thanks!

Ran into a clan the other week that was using 2 Loons, 3 Wiz, 8 Arch in cc and it proved to be a little challenging for many members. The cc tends to split in two directions and has enough hit points to get a few shots off before being killed by poison.

However, standard for our clan is a hound in max TH9 cc's and a Dragoon combo for lower TH9's that are vulnerable to air attacks.

Nice idea on 2 loons/wiz/arch. Maybe i'll try this next time. We usually use lava for th10/th9 with high cap cc and drag for 25/20 cap. But a lot of times attackers knows this already so i'm looking for alternatives.

    Thanks

I prefer long pulls that force them to actually burn their poison. Dragloons can now easily be double poisoned, or attacked straight on and ignored with 4 EQs and the old complement of spells (trading EQ for a larger jump) while not slowing down the attack much anyway.. if every CC is a dragloon (like it is in every clan we're against, or a hound) it's a joke to dispatch, and I recommend anything but that.

recently we've been trying to mix it up. If everyone has the same composition, then everyone in the opposing clan can figure out the way to deal with the troops. But if it switches up then it messes with strategies. for example, we started using a witch, two wizards, and then archers for one or two of our members. These bases, if housing a dragon and whatever else, would be lured out easily by a hog or two. But since we have a lot of troops, sometimes the hogs dont live long enough to get to the witch or the wizards. And even if they do, the difference in speed makes it tougher to drop a perfect poison spell.
