The complainer could either continue to use the same army to little benefit, playing how they like and not with the army that was 'intended' (whatever they felt that was) or they could adapt their gameplay and take advice from others.

    Please don't confuse pushing to higher leagues with going as 'high as you can go'...they really are two different things.

    You can push up a few leagues and stay within your comfort zone, focusing on loot on the journey up - it really is that simple.
    The pushing to higher leagues was an example to bring to light that pre update someone pushing spent the majority of their elix and de on troops and spells and a ton of gold on nexting to the point that upgrades slowed to a crawl. Now post update it doesn't matter what league you are in, you are in a constant push environment, so upgrades tend to slow to a crawl. Obviously the higher league you are in the better, but many many ppl have no clue how to attack or for that matter how to do basic math. They hit with armies that are very ineffective or far overpriced for the loot they are going after. Then after too many good tries but bad returns they get frustrated and go back to what they know and previously enjoyed. This frustrates them and the ppl they hit because they usually screw up and get 1-3 storages in the process. (20k loot per 100k available per storage)....repeat every half hour after village guard runs out.

    Really? pre update the only thing that really slowed my progress when pushing was the epic costs in trap rearming

    withiut that I've slowed moved up to 4k+ making a ton of loot and keeping all builders constantly busy

    Yes, it does mean I have to win most of my attacks but shouldn't winning be needed to progress?

    Your argument holds no water. I am not concerned about getting some league bonus and nor are any other of the bases where I am. The fact is that I am in a league that allows me to progress in my own way. Why should I push to a higher league? Because you want me to? Why is it your business what league I am in? Why are you trolling everyone who plays differently from you?

    My base is more available to attacks because I'm not sitting in some higher league hiding behind a long Village Guard.

    I sit where I sit because it is where I am finding it best to progress and that is none of your business.

    I am really good at math, but after the last week in Champs watching TH10 with loot completely disappear......I dropped down and found where the cowards went. Now I am that guy GoWiping cowards down in the little leagues because I careless about loot and more about ruining these peoples day now.

    I do not need to max out my village I have a lifetime to do that. Like all of the droppers say......"I am just playing the game the way I enjoy it." and I enjoy crushing villages with big loot and do not care whether the math agrees with me or not.

    Once my shield is gone I also now enjoy rolling around and 1 dropping all of the TH10 and TH 11 who are down here hiding. I don't really care to trophy dump but in the state the game is in now I do enjoy dumping trophies on people who do not want them.

    Champs/Titan is an obvious range for TH10.
    TH11-Titan
    TH10-Champ
    TH9-Masters
    TH8-Crystal
    TH7-Gold
    TH6-Silver
    TH5-Bronze

    I thought you were being sarcastic when you were moaning like he was telling you to push your TH10 to Legends.

    Good for you, I'm glad your happy with the update. Personally I like a lot about the update myself but there are parts of it that need tweaking as it was hugely popular before the update and now clash is hanging in the balance of if it stays popular or not.

    Loot needs balancing so all players can feel like there is a way they can advance even if it is at a crawl the way they want to play the game that fits their lifestyle.

    Shields need to come back for th destruction, but the loot they hold needs to be increased so players have a reason to protect them but get relief when they get hammered.

    Defensive league bonuses need to be implemented, till now in clash your average player has felt no positive in defending just a loot drain.

    Throw a certain percentage of dead villages into the attack que so players feel a reward like hitting the lottery so it takes away from the grind and sameness that the game has become post update. It is a game after all, and what it has become makes me want to go to work to relax after playing it.

    Bottom line I guess is if you like the s❤️❤️T sandwich your being served then by all means ask for seconds...but I'm not alone in asking for the main course to be something other than excriment. Oh and btw, it may get lonely at the top if too many ppl like me get bored playing the way the game was intended after playing it for more than 3 years the way we enjoyed it. Have a nice day 😃

    Sorry I didn't realise we were talking about our likes and dislikes of the update... Please reread my posts, they relate to the topic of this thread which is climbing to higher leagues

    I was merely saying that it is possible to 'push' and climb trophies to get to a higher league whilst making significant profit (compared to preupdate)

    It is a game, and like every game ive personally ever owned... the later stages can become a lot harder/time consuming/requiring of relentless practice

    I found a new goal in this game and much more fun, how high i can climb the ladder. Don't care about the loot, as long as all builder is busy, i'm satisfied. those storages never empty after the dec update.

    Loot balancing? like raising bonuses? There already are high bonuses they are called Champ/Titan but everybody runs away from the high bonus because that means people will use a real army against them.

    Defensive bonus would be abused like crazy by the 29%..........no wonder they are pushing for this so hard.

    How about replace TH shields with a shield for destroying dark elixir storage?

    No proof that dead bases have gone anywhere. We do know that without TH snipes there are now a lot more bases in the que that were likely not abandoned. Also the barrack boost is drying out everything in the game right now under the current shield system.

    Force big loot bases out of hiding and the game will be enjoyable........and be played the way Supercell intended.
